Hi,
I have an issue with my Airtel Internet and landline connection. Let me explain the issue first. I am shifting to Ranchi(Jharkand) on 7th of June and I wanted my internet connection disconnected and wanted my landline to stay alive with a different plan. I had called Airtel costumer care from the same landline on 24th of May. I informed them about the same and the 1st agent told me that the landline has a minimum package of 550Rs. per month plan. And later I got a few calls shuttling around for their marketting asking if I wanted to keep my internet alive in a low cost pack or I could transfer the connection to some of my friends or relatives. After all that it took them till 2nd of June to act on it at all. In the morning of that day when I tried calling from my landline at around 9a.m. I found hat my landline is disconnected. And I called the customer care immediately and was promised that the issue will be fixed on that day itself. I checked if it was only the landline that was disconnected or even the internet. And I found out that the internet was alive and only the landline connection was disconnected. It was the Exact opposite of what I asked. The issue was not fixed even after I called the 2nd time the same day. And that time the agent whoever attended told me that the deadline was 4th of June for fixing the issue. I decided to give them that time and then waited till today (5th of June to call again). The issue was still not fixed. I called the customer care today morning and the agent gave me a new timing as a deadline. She told me that the issue will be fixed within 12:28p.m. today. But no its again just a false alarm. I have called about 2-3 times after that deadline in just one day and not once has the agent been convincing and neither was any action taken at all.
