Hi Consumer Court Team,
My name is Anoop Nair. I applied for a Tata Indicom Broadband connection on
6th November 2008 in my friend's name. I paid Rs.843/- for the connection in
cash. The connection application was rejected beacause there was low signal
stregth in my area.
I contacted Customer Service several times for the refund of the amount but
always false promises were given..At last i wrote a mail to the nodal officer
and the appellate authority of Tata Indicom but no response came from their
side.
So finally i wrote to the head of the grievance department to get me the
refund amount.After some days a mail came from the nodal officer promising a
date by which i would be receiving the amount..But still i didnt received the
amount..I waited for 2 more days after the promised date but no refund was
done..Hence i finally wrote to the head of the grievance department again that i
have waited enough and now will be going to the consumer court..No reply came
from their side and no refund uptill now..
Please help me to get me the refund amount. I am forwarding the chain mail
which i wrote to Tata Indicom's designated head's so that you can understand the
whole scenario more clearly..

Hi,
With deep regret i have to inform that when the nodal officer who is from the top
management cannot keep his promises, how can i except the same from the lower level
employees..
As per your reply to my mail, you promised me that by 19th Jan 09 i would be getting
the refund amount...Now its 21st Jan 09 today, still i havent received the same..
I waited till today so that 20th Jan may be taken as a grace period....
Now its high time since i am co-operating with you people.. I have waited for a long
time now...
What i have decided is that today itself i will be contacting the consumer court
team and will do the needful. And i will make sure that i get the refund amount as
well as the compensation for all the inconvinience caused.
