Its 21st and they have not installed anything yet. I asked for a refund and they said come to their office on saturday. I am going to get my refund and never use sarkari services from now on. Its good that they are privatising PSUs and announcing IPOs and FPOs. All sarkari babus do is go to tea breaks and strike. Like today only, BSNL workers on indefinite strike.

I created this topic and so I would like to inform you that atleast DISTANCE TELECOM is not a fraudent company. My internet connection has been installed. They took 15 days to install my phone and another 5 for broadband. broadband seems to working fine and I can check my broadband plan and calls on my internet id. Broadband is working as it is supposed to work at 512kbps. So, If you are looking for an internet connection then go to your nearest MTNL SANCHAR HUT by yourself or call Airtel. They are good and efficient. My flatmate got Airtel - Applied on friday, next monday voila fone and broadband installed. Airtel is the same as I and he are paying 675 for wifi modems n broadband and 100calls free but i get 512kbps all the time, he on the other hand get 512kbps for the first 5gbs then 256kbps. But airtel is stable and without any problems whereas i cannot say the same about mtnl. So, choice is urs go for broadband.

I got a call from distance telecom and the person took my documents alongwith a cheque of Rs. 650/- for installation of broadband and telephone connection at my home. but now it is more than 10 days and they have not installed any connection at my home and giving daily 2-3 days time on every call. I have filed a complaint against them and going to take a legal action against them.

It's now a month that they have not installed internet at my home. They have collected my documents and a cheque or Rs.650 and promised me to install within one week but till today they have not installed anything at my home. the person Gagan 9999945493 (Area manager) is don't no that how to talk with customers.

I am calling them on daily basis but they everyday give me 2-3 days time to install the connection.

Did u get you connection now? Will you pleae share what process you follow to get it. As same thing is happing with me. I applied on 14/01/2012 and as of now no one turned up.. I am fed up on calling these guys.. even there are manager knows my case but they are putting everthing on MTNL by saying that its a govrnment company and they works like that. I have nothing with me apart from a receipt.
