    Unhappy complaint against airtel broadband

    Hi
    I was living in delhi. There I had a airtel broadband connection. In December 2009, I have to shift from delhi on urgent basis so i made a request for withdrawl of this connection on 14th Dec 2009. After that they used to call me again and agin via phone. I told them that please disconnect my connection as i have to shift on 18th Dec 2009 and then they asked me to shift this connection at my new place but i refuesd and told them that there i having already airtel broadband connection. Even i got a bill for the cycle 17th nov to 17 Dec and i paid the bill accordingly. I dropped a mail to 121@airtel.in on 23rd Dec 2009 for the withdrawl of connection and in which i had written clearly that the request no. given by their executive is 292166 and I am not going to pay the bill for next cycle. After that mail, they called me up and said that Your request has been registered and connection will be disconnected within 1 week. I shifted with the instrument i.e modem. I thought connection has been disconnected. But after a month, I got a call again from airtel, they said that there is no usage on this no. then i replied how can i use this connection as I am not staying there and i have made a request for withdrawl. And for past 1 month I am getting calls on daily basis from airtel for payment of bills and all. One guy said to me that on 28th Dec I agreed to continue with this connection, HOW COULD IT BE POSSIBLE.I am getting pissed off.Please help me.

    Default withdrawal of broadband connection

    my account number is 16215068. my computer is out of order. i want to buy new computer. it will take nearly four months. so please withdraw my connection from 10.04.2011. I will pay this month bill only. hereafter i won't pay the bill. so, please do the needful. If the connection is not cut from the date i mentioned above, i will not be responsible for the act and also i will not pay the bill for that irresponsible action.Please do the needful. I contacted u through cell phone by dialing 121 but it goes to vodafone. so only iam filing this complaint here. Accept this complaint and do the needful immediately.

    Exclamation Complaint against airtel boradband

    Hi
    I am from Bangalore. I had a airtel broadband connection till last June. Everything was going smooth till i had to shift to a new house, i requested airtel to cancel or transfer if possible my connection to my new house. My billing cycle was from 5 to 5.I cleared all outstanding amounts and registered a case to cancel or transfer (if possible) my connection on june 12. My trouble started there. Even after repeated calls to airtel reps i didn’t get a clear answer on the status of my request (replies were either "DP chocked" or "please wait 2 days, the connection will be transferred in 2 days time"). i guess there is some turnaround time of 3 days or something for the cases, every other day i used to get a new case number and it will get closed without any proper resolution ie closing my connection or transferring the connection to new address.
    This process repeated for around 1 1/2 months, and then one airtel representative told me that since there was lot of delay from airtel, bill for 6 days (from june 5 to june 12) is waived off and my connection is terminated.
    In Aug i got a bill for some 1000+ amount for the month of july and the process repeated again. After so many calls and hours explaining i was told that my connection is canceled.
    Then in December i got a call from airtel legal representatives that i have some amount pending and i need to pay the amount.
    I am tired of this behavior from airtel. One department informs that my connection is terminated and other one asks me to pay and more over the process is repeating again and again. I might have spent more than 1000 Rs for talking to airtel representatives.
    I had mailed to nodalofficer.kk@airtel.in, care.karnataka@airtel.in and got no replies till now.
    Pls somebody let me know how to proceed further. How do i deal with misleading information from airtel representatives? Or rather how do I close this airtel connection forever?

    Default Airtel Broadband connection terminated

    hello,

    I am airtel broadband customer. My internet stopped working on 7th Jan 2012 midnight. I called up airtel customer service on 8th Jan,2012.
    I was told there is some technical defect . They kept me on hold and after 15mins the reply comes- Madam your connection is "Mass terminated".
    This term makes no sense to me, I told them I have paid all my bills on time and never requested for any termination. But no one from airtel provided me any reasoning. They simply gave me a complaint nbr and told me it will be fixed.I put the same thing in the email to 121 but from there only auto generated mails come.
    The date for fixing was 16Jan 2012. I again called up saying it was not working, I have been calling airtel so many times since then but now they take my details and put me on hold. This is their "very polite" way of dealing with customers.
    I have written mails too but i always get a ready saying we will get back to you in 1 day. But actually nothing happens. I have never received single call from airtel regarding follow up on my case.

    I am being harassed by airtel by first terminating my connection and then their customer care who doesn't listen at all.
