Dear Sir,
I have been struggling to get the refund amount which I am supposed to get
after termination of the internet account. I called their customer support
people several times and there was a standard response saying that some one
will call me with in next 24hrs to sort off this issue and they are not
providing me any complaint no. not they are allowing me to talk to their
superiors. They are bluntly saying that we don't have the high up contact
details and nor the web site has those. When I wrote the same to the
customer service of VSNL they again responded saying that you will be
getting the amount in 10 days which never turns to be working at all. After
a long discussion with the customer support executive I could get their
Supervisor Mr. Prasanna on 14th Mar 06. He promised that he will make the
finance people to talk to me with in 24hrs which didn't happen at all and
today when I tried reaching him the customer service executive told me that
he is not there at this point and transferred to another supervisor who
didn't pick the call at all.
Request your advice on how to go about on this.

Hi,
I have submitted my termination letter to VSNL personally along with the
Accessories on 3 Jan 2006 for my login id: vnakka, Account No: 11568. As of
today I have made several calls to the customer support asking them for the
refund of my deposit. I haven't got the money, every time I spoke to them
they start saying that they will follow-up with the concern through your
internal system etc etc.. Apart they are not willing to give a complaint no
since the user id has been deleted etc.. After a while I started to note
down the complaint details my self following are the details. They are also
reluctant to give me the contact no of the high ups to escalate the problem.
1. Don't know 2:30Pm on 24 Feb 06
2. Sai Sankar 2:35Pm on 1 Mar 06
3. Sri Valli 3:45Pm on 6 Mar 06
4. Bharati 2:35Pm on 7 Mar 06
5. Shruti 2:05Pm on 9 Mar 06
So for all the above people keep saying that The thing is under processing
and some one from Vsnl will get in tough with you with in 24hrs as of this
time I haven't got any calls from VSNL except the marketing calls.
If I don't pay the bill by the bill date Vsnl puts me late payment fee. Are
you going to follow the same to me? I am highly satisfied with the Internet
service what I got from you where as I am totally unsatisfied with the
refund. Ever worst service from VSNL for my tenure of 10 Years. One more
thing one of the support staff told me that I will be receiving the sum of
546Rs towards refund. Where as I am suppose to get Rs 1000 - 3 days charges.
Pls make a note of this and kindly do the needful ASAP. Else I need to go
legally.
