I purchased TATA Photon Whiz connection few months back. It worked fine for sometime . But from about last 45 days, it has started creating problems. . It remains disconnected for days and the problem doesn't seem to solve. .When it starts working, it again disconnects after 2-3 days. .Upon contacting the local TATA Photon franchisee several times (almost daily) , I was informed that the problem will be solved within a day or two days but the result was not satisfied. .Even presently, I am suffering from the problem since last many days.
I have activated Rs 550 plan and all my money goes waste as I am not able to use the service for which I pay. .I have contacted the local franchisee at least 20 times but no use. .

We suggest you to first register your complaint with Customer Care, wait for their response and revert us back.

I contacted the franchisee but got no response from their. .So, I registered the complaint here. I would have cleared my outstanding balance had they told me about this. .Did not contacted customer care though. .All rite, I'll clear any of my outstanding bills and wait. .

ORDER



1. This order arises out of an application u/s 12 of the C.P Act for not extending the services for the electronic goods purchased by the complainant for his use in his computer. The complainant also lodged a complainant with the O.P through the web site but still then the O. Ps were not prepared the extend the service for which he has to hire such service through the bouncing centre and thus putting him into monetary difficulty.
2. During the course of hearing the O.P appeared and promised to extend the services but even such promise was not complied . Hence this forum is forced to pass the orders.
3. When the O. Ps 1 and 2 is not denying the defective services in the said electronic items and come forward to give such services to the complainant. The complainant being a computer literate is in need of such service provided by the O.P NO: 2 through the mechanism introduced by him namely WIZ and the cost of which is Rs 2600/- . When the complainant is unable to avail the benefits introduced by them through the said electronic it is deemed that the O .Ps have entered into an unfair trade practice. Hence both the O .Ps are liable for the said consequences.
4. Accordingly the petition of the complainant is allowed on contest against OP NO: 1 and exparte against OP NO: 2 . The O. Ps are directed to refund the cost of Rs 2600/- collected by them vide sale invoice dt. 10.10.2009 and also pay a cash compensation of Rs 600/- (six hundred) the complainant within one month, failing which the complainant is entitled to realize the same by invoking the provisions u/s 25 & 27 of the C.P. Act.

I have purchased a tata photon device with a prepaid connection and i have activated the connection and recharged it with Rs 300 on 13 oct 2010 14:00 hrs.The systemconfirmed that the device is activated by replying the MDN no through IVRS.The next moment it is got disconnected.I called customer care lot pof time .Till night 20:00 hrs they dont have any update about this no.the dealer who sold the device also calling the customer care.Still device in inactivated condition after the Rs 300 recharge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought a tata photon whiz data card on 24 aug 2010 in prepaid connection. Last time i recharged it on 26-oct-10 worth Rs 749. But its not working till now.

Tata photon service is very bad,we should'nt have to use tata data cards they not provide speed guaranty.Tata photon whiz product contain something critical problem but tata ignored problem and launched product in low cost.Good strategy which hid bad faults.
