    Default cheating tata photon whiz internet connections

    Iam Gagan from Rayagada,Orissa. I have purchased a tata indicom photon whiz in october 10th 2009.After 39 days of use it shows no service.When i asked customer care they said u have not sumbitted ur information.But i had sumbitted twice.How it has worked for 39 days.I need clarification from the company.I want my money back with compensation.

    Tata Indicom's customer support is a joke. Problems are rarely solved within 48 hours. Mailing the ID they have provided is also useless.
    I suggest that you directly call up the nodal officer. The telephone number is probably mentioned in the mail you recieved when you logged your complaint. Otherwise call up customer support and insist that they give you the number of the nodal officer.
    However, it is extremely unlikely that you will get your money back.

    I too earlier faced similar issue but the same got addressed after sending the details to the above mail ID

    Till now the tata indicom has not provided me the service.Give me a new photonwhiz with 6month free service or give my money back with compensastion.Or else i will go to media.And my photon no-9238635291,S/N-EUSD419816,SAP-100004160,MEID-A1000004093585.

    ORDER



    1. This order arises out of an application u/s 12 of the C.P Act for not extending the services for the electronic goods purchased by the complainant for his use in his computer. The complainant also lodged a complainant with the O.P through the web site but still then the O. Ps were not prepared the extend the service for which he has to hire such service through the bouncing centre and thus putting him into monetary difficulty.
    2. During the course of hearing the O.P appeared and promised to extend the services but even such promise was not complied . Hence this forum is forced to pass the orders.
    3. When the O. Ps 1 and 2 is not denying the defective services in the said electronic items and come forward to give such services to the complainant. The complainant being a computer literate is in need of such service provided by the O.P NO: 2 through the mechanism introduced by him namely WIZ and the cost of which is Rs 2600/- . When the complainant is unable to avail the benefits introduced by them through the said electronic it is deemed that the O .Ps have entered into an unfair trade practice. Hence both the O .Ps are liable for the said consequences.
    4. Accordingly the petition of the complainant is allowed on contest against OP NO: 1 and exparte against OP NO: 2 . The O. Ps are directed to refund the cost of Rs 2600/- collected by them vide sale invoice dt. 10.10.2009 and also pay a cash compensation of Rs 600/- (six hundred) the complainant within one month, failing which the complainant is entitled to realize the same by invoking the provisions u/s 25 & 27 of the C.P. Act.
