    Angry Airtel Broadband Customer Care: Delay in my refund from Airtel

    Hi All,


    · I used to use Airtel Broadband 5 months ago. The number is 011-47096400.

    · The account’s due were cleared then and account closed, have not used service more than 5-6 months

    · I am using MTNL now

    · On 14th January 2009, I had a make a payment to MTNL, by error I Made it to Airtel

    · Transaction made through ICICI CREDIT CARD ending with 9014, through Net Banking, Rs. 1,322.00

    · I called Airtel Customer care:

    1. On 18th January at 12:23, Ticket number 28626592. Resolution: (Amount will be refunded Via cheque within 21 days + Call Back)

    2. On 19th January at 11:41, Ticket number 28660150. Resolution: (Refund cheque under process wait for 21 days + Call Back)

    3. On 29th January at 14:02, Ticket number 119439156. Resolution: (Refund cheque dispatch to my correct address)

    4. On 9th February at 16:26, Ticket number 121211146. Resolution: (Please wait for 21 days)

    5. On 18th February at 13:45, Swati Picks the call, I ask for supervisor, she hangs up

    6. On 18th February at 14:02, Ahmed Picks the call, I ask for supervisor, Transfers to Zeba(Sup), she takes permission to place the call on hold & hangs up

    7. On 18th February at 14:20, Wasim Picks the call, I ask for supervisor, Transfers to Banish Siddique (Sup), he takes permission to place the call on hold, puts on hold for a minute and then hangs up

    8. on 22nd February at 16:30, Prakash takes the call, I give the Ticket Number 28626592.
    Praksh: Can I place your call on hold
    Me: Go ahead
    Prakash: Sir, it wil take 15-20 days
    Me: when was the ticket raised?
    Prakash: 18th Feb
    Me: that is 34 days
    Any other number I need to call to know the status of refund
    Prakash: Can I place your call on hold
    comes back from hold
    Prakash: I need to raise another ticket for the the status, for that I need place your call on hold

    Ticket number given 29807306: The ticket will be resolved by 3rd march 2010, 9:52

    I am left clueless so as to how to take it further. I was promised callback for all tickets, but never received a call back. No cheque received. Can you please help me, to get it channelized to the correct department/person. It is a shear torture.

    After Few days of having posted this, the relavent team got in touch with me. They responded to this Blog and refund my money via check on the 6th day of having posted this one.

    yes they are very good in delaying, or maybe they are waiting for a complaints email.... more complaints more salary

    We Murli Krishna Pharma Had applied for Airtel Broadband connection for Our Koregaon Park office to Airtel.After so many false comittment Airtel had told that we can not provide service.
    We had paid deposit of 1000/- rs by Cheque to Airtel.We visited Airtel for refund but we got Oly false committment now this procedure had crossed around 2 Months but after 2 Months also ther is n action on the same.And airtel any officer is not giving any response on the same.

    This is question of business ethics and I can say Airtel is a Inefficient to provide services and also Airtel is a copany with a Lot of Lyers and False commiting peopels.

    I have given a cheque of rs 500 for the deposit or airtel broadband on 01-12-2009, since i didn't get my money back or airtel connection. Deposit receipt number is CH967451

    Angry Airtel Broadband deposit refund.

    I was a customer of Airtel Broadband. Due to relocation, I decided to discontinue the services of airtel on 26th September, 2010. They gave me the reference number - 113242 and on calling after 2 days, I was informed that the net had been disconnected and I would have to pay on pro-rata basis for the usage on 26th and 27th September,2010 and my deposit of 3000 will be deposited within 45 days.

    After 10days, I checked into my airtel online account and found that it showed that my account is active. So, I again called the customer care to confirm that my connection had been disconnected. They said that it had been disconnected since 28th September, 2010.

    Then, on 26th October,2010 - I received a usage bill of 1212 INR. When I called again to enquire about the same, I was told that I had to pay the amount as my net had not been disconnected for that month. After putting forth my argument , giving my reference number and spending 15-20 minutes on "HOLD", I was told that a team will get in touch with me before 15th November,2010 to resolve the issue. And on asking about the refund, I was told they will tell me about everything when the team gets in touch with me.

    It is 47 days now after my connection was cut. And I am yet to receive the call regarding the "Account details" they were supposed to take from me for the refund.

    I am writing this to inform the airtel officers that if this is not solved by monday - 15th Nov, 2010 as promised, I will file a case in the consumer court against AIRTEL in the PUNE DISTRICT under the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Forum.

    I am dismayed at the behavior of the employees at AIRTEL.

    Post Delay in my refund from Airtel

    I am Amit dave,applied for Airtel Land-line & Broadband connection 2 months before in indore (MP),but the connection is not made. When i contact to the head office of airtel they told me that the connection request was canceled & my money would be refund in 45 days,but it is more then 65 days,still i am waiting for there response. Behavior of Airtel executives are nor supporting. What should i do?

What should i do?
