    Angry I am HARRASED, I NEED TO ESCALATE THIS MATTER..!! Airtel Broadband (04040183265)

    I wish to inform that I AM HARRASED with the services of Airtel Broadband (04040183265) since past 2 months and No body seems to be helping to resolve this FORCED issue on me,



    I AM IN NEED TO ESCALATE THIS MATTER TO a decision making authority, I have been deprived of any contact form any senior authority and have been forced to pay bills that Airtel officials forged on to me..



    Since last two month I have been asking to resolve this matter as It was mistake at Airtel end or I was deliberately tricked in to this for higher bills I have totally lost hope of anybody from a senior authority to help as I am harassed and being forced to pay the bill that I am not liable to..





    I want to take this matter IF NOT RESOLVED immediately to every possible highlight, Newspaper to Media..to Consumer forums, court or to anywhere I get attention to..



    I will not leave this matter as I have not been heard and I have totally lost patience of explaining the issue that I have been tricked into…I will ask all my office colleagues 10000 + to be aware of AIRTEL functional and ruffian behavior..



    Matter:



    · I asked this line to be deactivated in the month of May-June 09 as I had to travel abroad and was going off from the city.

    · Instead of complete disconnection the Rep at Airtel converted the Telephone line comes free with Broadband into active converted to a rental plan on going..acumalating 180rs per month WITHOUT INFORMING AND AFTER TAKING CONFIRMATION THAT THERE WOULD NOT BE ANY CHARGE BEING ACTIVE ON MY ACCOUNT ..this in total now 727 rs..

    · After my return in Nov 09 I asked to reactivate the line (Being a loyal costomer) and I was informed of this Balance..

    · The line was activated but not released the broadband to use Until Dec 27th 09.

    · I am charged for the full month of Dec 09. about 800 rs

    · Together 727 + 800 = approx 1500 RS is fake and I am not liable to pay..I am happy to pay right away the bill that I have used your service. It is not at all a big money for me to pay but I am not liable to pay this as first I have been tricked and then forced.



    I have asked at least 50 times to many reps and no body helps and nobody gives a contact to complain, I HAVE BEEN FORCED TO PAY THIS BILL OR BEING THREATENED TO DISCONNECT THE LINE..Priya from RETENTION DEPT. ??? Is this your retention policy, to trick customer to pay high bill and then force then to pay else disconnect the line??





    I HOPE SOMEBODY LOOKS INTO THESE COMPLAINS MAILS LIKE YOUR PHONE REPS THEY ARE USELESS.. AND EXTREAMLY BAD BEHAVED..!!

    I have been facing the same problem of no resolution to my complaint. Its the same Priyanka from retention/credit control deptt who has abused me over the phone and has been asking me to pay in excess of Rs.20,000/- in one month, wrongly charged to me when my bill for the last 24 months has never exceeded Rs.1800/-
    Please let me know if you have received any help and from whom

    Default Airtel harassment and wrong bill forced on me

    Airtel wrongly generated a bill for Rs 25, 000 for my broadband for 2 months. I repeadedly complaied for 3 months and when manager of airtel collections, south zone, Avinash called me, he threatened me . He said he d send me a non-bailable warrant and refused to listen to my problem. I reached a settlement with him of Rs. 6600, and he refused to pay me any letter. Afterwards he has been sending airtel executives every month for 4 months now, and still bothering me to pay rest.

    I am thinking of going to Press . I am still searching for email id of senior management.

    Thumbs down Complaint about Airtel broadband

    Hi,

    I have an airtel broadband connection(044-45575379), for the past few days I am facing frequent disconnection. I had informed this to them and their engineers came and replaced the modem 3 times, but the issue still persists they are resolving the case without confirmations. 16th i had a cable cut issue and this was the second time I was facing this issue, i asked them to keep the wires under the soil, i even talked to their manager and give me assurance that it will be fixed. Nothing happened, now they are disconnecting my call if i call customer care.

    Default safe custody tricking

    Hi,

    My landline no. for airtel account is 02046743725.

    In the month of February 2010 I applied for my landline and internet connection to be disconnected since I was traveling for 3-4 months.

    Then I received a call from the Retention officer that I may not disconnect the phone as it can be put in the safe custody. I told them that I might be traveling for 3-4 months… He said no problem, he offered me to put my phone in safe custody without any charge of safe custody also ( normally the safe custody would cost ts400 but he waived that for me). He also told me that once I am back from my travel, I will need to restart my services by calling up 020444121 from my cell or any number and then they will restart the services.
    I agreed for this arrangement.

    When I returned to my home in June, I realized that my phone was on and that I had three months of pending bills… When I called up the customer desk, I was told that my phone was removed from the safe custody after one month only and my bills have been generating for past three months. I asked customer service that I did not tell anyone to restart my services then home come you started my services, they did not have an answer for this. Then I immediately asked my services to be discontinued, Then again I got a call from a Retention officer and when I told him the whole story, he agreed that the mistake has been from Airtel’s part and that he has no idea how can they restart the services without getting any intimation from my side and that he will make sure that he gets the correct bill generated.
    But it is September now and I do not have my correct bill yet.

    Airtel is telling me that my phone was on safe custody only for a month. I told them that when I knew I would be travelling for 3-4 months why would I agree for the safe custody for just one month?? The issue is still unresolved.. What options do I have?

    Thumbs down One of the worst experiences of Airtel Broadband.

    I had requested to discontinue the plan on 7th July 2010. That time there was no outstanding amount against my account. (Airtel Account Number 15676484)
    And Now I came to know that the plan is neved got discontiued and there is outstanding amount of Rs. 2169.

    I am continusouly following this up with "Wecare.west@airtel.in", but nothing is happening.

    one suggestion, Airtel should change its above email-id. It should be - Wedontcare.west@airtel.in.
