    Default BSNL Broadband connection - Never used but received the bill for Rs.1726

    I applied for BSNL Broadband connection - Home 500 C plan.

    1. 044-22580900 number was used by another owner till 17th Nov 2009. This no was given to us on 22nd Nov 2009. We were having disturbances in phone line. While talking, could not hear from both ends. I kept asking to rectify the problem by calling exchange daily. But it was not done.
    2. Modem was set up in our home by 1st Dec by Non-Technical person, Net connection didnt come. I kept asking to send some technical person to rectify that. After 4 days, a person came and changed the IP settings. But the technical person intimated to exchange that there was a disturbance in phone line, hence net connection will not work properly. Finally line fault was not rectified and connection problem was continued. Hence I removed phone line and modem and got AIRTEL net connection and using it. When I asked exchange and CSC regarding surrender, I was notified that after generation of First month bill only, they could take the instruments back. But On dec month, we are not using the Net connection and phone as well. We will not be paying bill for Dec Month. Why unnecessarily we need to pay the bill.We have taken Modem on rental cost. Also We paid Rs.500 as deposit initially. This itself is loss for us. When net is not used, why do we need to pay the bill unnecessarily and Will I get back our deposit money Rs.500?

    I raised this above complaint in BSNL Broadband through online on 12th Dec 2009.

    Bill for Dec was generated, was ready on 10th Jan. But we received this bill on 18th Jan only.
    On 18th Jan, I have got the bill for amount of Rs.1726.00 for the above landline no. Modem was given to our home by 1st Dec only. In that case, How come the broadband bill is generated from 27th Nov 2009? Tottally I cannot agree this. Also Not even 1 day we have used broadband connection. Even Landline free calls were not used.
    I was ready to surrender the connection (Instruments) by 1st Week of Dec itself. But Exchange and Customer service officers were not ready to take back the instruments.
    I have not used my broadband even for 1 day. Still I got the bill amount for broadband usage. Why do I need to pay this much amount when I was ready to surrender the instruments as soon I raised compliant about Phone disturbances and broadband connection issues. I have got Airtel Connection on 8th Dec 2009. So I disconnected BSNL phone & modem and using only Airtel connection.
    Please consider this mail and do take care of issues. I am not using BSNL at all. Bills keep coming for this connection.
    Also, I am not ready to pay the bill for Jan month also.
    I have sent mail to SouthWest divisional officer reg this issue too.
    Please help me how to resolve this issue.

    Default surrendar of my will phone connection

    sir,
    i wish to inform that my wll phone is not working for last 3 month eventhough i have paid full amount and complined several time but no one taken necessory steps so i wish to surrender my wll phone so i request you to kindly recover your instrument earliast .
