    Default Airtel Broadband Complaint

    Hi,

    I applied for airtel broadband connection with landline phone on 15th August, 2010 and was told that I will get the connection within 02 working days. I called them numerous time and most of the time no one picks up the phone. And when they do I am told that i'll get the connection within 1-2 days which never happened. And now when i called up today, I am being told that the copper wire capacity in my residential complex is maxed out and they cannot issue a new connection until new cables are laid down. But no one is ready to give me this in writing.

    i stay in noida ,sector - 62, b-404, designer"s park.
    landline no-0120-4222890.
    iam using airtel broadband connection .on 24 and 25th of aug i got a call from noida sector -57, airtel office regarding the bill payment. they told that my outstanding bill is 1719 , and if i pay today itshelf then they would give a discount of rupees 200. they sent a field executive to my place. i made the payment of 1500 to the field executive. and after 3 days agin i got a call from customer care saying that outstanding bill is 219. the person who made the call was gurmeet(not the exact name).


    i feel this person is a fruad.
    i want strict action to be taken against this person. and my bill should be updated.

    Hi,

    I am a very unsatisfied user of Airtel Broadband customer . I have booked connection on 1 sep and now till date 6 sep, nothing is happening.

    I called airtel marketing guy so many times but get all the excuses.

    I called customer care too but they are there for information only, they cannot do anything

    Angry Airtel Broadband Installation NOT YET done in POWAI in Mumbai

    I have paid the installation charges and everything and it has been more than 15 days but so far no one has contacted me and no one has come to do the installation done. This was for Eternia Building in Hiranandani Gardens in Powai in Mumbai.

    My contact number is 98335-43043. Can some one please help me get a internet connection from airtel ?

    Default I never get a Connection

    HI,
    This is prasad and I had applied for new airtel broadband 7 days before. One of Airtel executive approached for new connection and his name is Abhishek. He came to my place then I told him to check about port availability and connection. He spoke to his authorities before me. Finally he concluded line is available and you will get your connection in 2 to 4 days. Then I waited for the next day then I have been calling him continuously finally he picked my call and give his manager name to contact him. His name is vishwa. Then I spoke to him he said I will get my connection in 3 days. On third day again I have to call him. He said he will check with technical team. Next day again I called him he said he already spoke to the manager will give me update. Next day when I approach him he said he will give me technical department number you can reach him. I believe his name is suresh technical manager, when I called him he said there are no ports available. Then I have called visha, he said he will speak to suresh then come back to me. He never gave a call. So again I called suresh, he said he will check on it then give me call. He never did. Eventually I am approached to Technical lead Wajeed his number is. He also said he will check then come back to me. After 2 days I have called him, he simply replied we don’t have connection availability.
    I have waited for 8 days for all these process and no benefit, time waste, money waste and unnecessary tensions.

    Default Airtel Boradband services - Are these fraud?

    I had applied for a connection on 4th Sep on the promise that I will get the a connection by 6th Sep EOD. Otherwise I would have gone for Tata Photon.

    I had expected a delay for a day or two, but after calling several times and being assured that the connection will be done in a day I realized that I am being taken for a ride. My neighbours who too have applied for the subscription a week earlier that I are still waiting for any word from Airtel.

    After doing a simple google search typing Airtel Broadband Complaints I found several links depicting complaints from many.

    And this is prompting me to register a complaint. I don't trust Airtel to deliver my connection anytime soon. Given the way they thwart people's efforts to get transparent view of the status I sincerely wonder what would be the quality of their service.

    And seeing so much of angst amongst people, I want to cancel my request and for for something else.

    Though I am not that impacted(my request is only a week old), this looks like a fraud and i wonder any regulating authority is monitoring it. No matter where you are, you will find people complaining about them.

    I have been an Airtel Broadband user since 2006. Since January 2010, I started facing problems with my broadband connection, the problem used to take around 6-10 days to be rectified.
    In the month of August I filed a complaint with Airtel regarding internet & landline not working. They haven't rectified the problem till this date. It has been about a month since i have not been able to use their facilities.

    In the middle of August, on speaking with a customer care representative Airtel gave me a wavier of 800 Rupees on the rental.
    Later, they gave me a wavier of 7 days rental.

    On asking for a clarification and asking them for a consolidated wavier I got an email from the airtel representative, a certain Mr. Marshal, that based on my internet 'usage' they have not found anything wrong with the bill and there is no need for any adjustments in the bill. He further says that in case i have any problems with the bill, I can get it clarified by getting an itemized bill by coughing up Rs 50 extra.

    amidst of all this I used to keep getting calls from airtel representatives asking if my services were fine now. which was all the more frustrating since no one had made any effort to get my internet working.

    Please advise. I have emails and complaint numbers for all the above.

    I do not want to pay for something i have not used.

    I reside in New Delhi, Connaught Place.

    This is the second time I am writing on this forum with belief that my problems will be rectified and relieve me of the unnecessary stress.

    My internet connection has not been resolved till date. Airtel executives have been constantly trying to call me and pressuring me into paying the bill for the services which I have yet to see since the past month and a half.

    The bills that I have been receiving also do not show any waiver as promised to me by the airtel executives.
    I have no internet since mid August

    Can someone please look into the matter.

    Thumbs down v.v.v.v.v.v.sales - airtel broadband new connection

    I applied for Airtel Broadband connection with modem on dt: 20.09.10. Your sales executives commited that i'll get the connection max by 23rd Sep' 10.
    However i did'nt get my internet connection till now.
    When i asked persons - Sales Executives / Agra Local Broadband office / TSM / Etc, they told every day that will give you max by today evening.

    I am a practising CA and this connection is required on urgent basis bcoz of clients Tax Audit Reports to be submitted max by 30th Sep' 10. Now what ???????????

    Kindly return back my all the dox collected and chq of Rs 500, otherwise i'll take legal action for false promise and commitment just to add one more new sale.
