Default Too much delay in installing broadband connection by bsnl

I have applied for landline and broadband connection both of Bsnl to the DeraBassi, Distt. Mohali.(Punjab) telephone exchange on dt. 18/12/09 with request to install both by 22/12/09. But, dealing person who recieve these applications for new connections was on leave. So, Mr. Raj kumar (J.E) at Derabassi telephone exchange has kept with himself my application and told me they shall call me on my mobile on next working day, the dealing person came thereafter you shall pay the security amount and get the new connection. The dealing person remained on leave upto 22/12/09. I went to the telephone exchange on 22/12/09 to meet any other senior person but, no senior person was available in the telephone Exchange. Then I sent email to cmd bsnl for delay and the same was forwarded to the chandigarh for further action by the cmd bsnl. I receive a call from telephone exchange Derabassi to deposit the security amount of Rs. 500/- at the earliest. After deposting the security on dt. 23/12/06, the landline connection was installed at my premises on 26/12/09. But, the broadband connection is not insalled on my landline number 01762-280134 till date despite several calls to telephone exchange officials. I applied for the bsnl broadband through online registration form also. I am still awaiting for the Broadband connection installation of Bsnl.

    Hello,

We suggest you to approach you area manager first, give him a written complaint and don't forget to take receiving from them.

Note: Before approaching CMD, first you have to register your complaint with the customer care then approach your area manager then your area nodal office and then approach CMD. This is the proper channel that helps you if you need to knock the consumer forum.

The following judgment may help you:

The complainant deposited Rs. 1000/- for getting telephone connection allotted to her, The complainant is a "Consumer"-- It is immaterial if the telephone connection is granted or not -- Mere by deposit of fee for allotment of telephone, the depositor become "Consumer"
