    Angry Tata photon plus improper billing

    Dear Sir/Madam
    My photon number is 9248112094
    I have opted for 950 plan which has 2 GB in Night and 10 GB in Day time has free usage.
    As per the billing period in between 28 th of November to 27 th of december my total usage is 8 GB which is well within the total free usage of the opted plan. There is some problem in your billing system the reason being unless it considers all the 8 GB of my usage as day time there is no possibility of these excessive charging of 4400 Rs after my free usage .To have charged 4400 Rs I should have used 20 GB of data (12 GB Free + 8 GB of Normal usage) than only it is possible to have charge these amount. And since i am well aware of the night usage of the plan, to the maximum extent i have used the internet only in the night time
    And from 12 th of december my connection has been deactivated for which i have registered a complaint but till now i have neither got any communication nor that connection got activated. I have explained the same to the customer care but it is of no use there are unable to rectify these
    I had a good opinion on tata services which has made me to purchase the datacard though i got warnings from my friends that tata billing system is erratic (like unable to differentiate between day and night usage) ,now i am convinced to the core that it was a huge mistake to have taken these datacard. usually the customers of datacard will be the people who are having a greater need for the mobile connectivity, now the usage has been deactivated since dec12 than what purpose will it serve us,ur irresponsible erratic billing system should be rectified at the earliest and I need a detailed email on why i have been charged 4400 rs which is in way beyond my usage

    Thumbs down Tata Photon + useless hardware

    I bought Tata Photon + in month of Jan 2010 with three months 5 GB free usage, the product worked exactly three months, in month of April 2010 it stopped working, on complaining I was asked to visit the service center in Andheri West, near Filmalya Studio, on going there I could not find any service center there, then again I was sent a list of service centers, on calling them their numbers would either be engage or no reply, hence I have given up and once again sent a email to disconnect my service, since it is useless to keep calling/emailing to them, the staff is just spoiling the name of such a nice person Mr. Ratan Tata,

    Angry Incorrect billed nd unbilled amount :Acount number 936252709 Phone number 9235066301

    My name is Deepak Negi, I got my photon activated on 3rd of July 2010. I advice everyone not to buy a photon connection they have a very poor billing system in place. From 3rd July 2010 to 02nd Aug 2010 it shows my current data usage of 2334mb I was surprised to see that because I thought it should have been around 700mb obviously if I have only used only web mails and a few social networking sites also include my Automatic updates of windows and any other updates on other applications are turned off. And I got mad when I saw the unbilled usage on 8th August 2010 which shows in 5 days my current data usage is beyond then 4 GB. I suspected a billing problem and I registered a complaint number 231983895 and which was expected to resolve by 14/08/2010 and it is not resolved yet despite the quick resolution from Tataindicom I noticed another serious issue which is even though you don't use your photon for the day it shows you the used data which you haven't I again turned back to their customer care and they only suspect a cloning issue and funny part is only few of them. Technically it's poor also after getting authenticated to the server the modem a lot of time bugs with no internet packets
    a lot of time for the three days it dint work and once 10 days also however I always get to see the unbilled amount and data usage increased day by day. Promises by them are fake they never call back for the resolution they will entertain your problem and surely increase some mental stress every time they call.:@

    :@finally I decided to block my photon connection to release my mental stress. WOW I was happy to know it was already blocked because of the credit limit approached though services got blocked.

    IS IT POSSIBLE IF YOUR CONNECTION IS BLOCKED AND YOU EVERYDAY SEE YOUR UNBILLED OR DATA USAGE GETTING INCREASED








    I really don't care now whether they resolve it or not.
    I am posting my complaint to let everyone know this what happened.
    HELP please if anyone can.

    TATA PHOTON PLUS LOOTING CUSTOMERS

    I bought tata photon plus from chandigarh on 29.07.2010 I was told by the customer care that I would be given 200 Rs discount for 12 months on purchase of tata photon plus on my postpaid bill but when I purchased I was told that this offer is not applicable in chandigarh. Had I been told that before buying I would not have purchased tata photon connection.
    Not only that when I got my second month bill i.e of September my bill was inflated by 384 Rs under the name HSIA usage charge ,my bill was supposed to be 950 as I have opted for 5gb plan for Rs 950 and I have used only 3 gb but I was charged 1474 Rs . I cant understand why they are looting customers. When I analyzed my bill I found that my 1st bill was also inflated by 200 Rs , again in the name of HSIA usage name ,when I called up the customer care the response was also not very positive I was supposed to get the refund of total 384+200 = 584 but was given only 500 Rs refund that too after calling them thrice and explaining them the tedious details of the bill .I was told by the customer care representative that it is not under his control to refund more than 500 Rs Have I not looked upon my 2nd bill they would continue charging and inflating my bill . I feel that there are many such innocent customers who are already in trap and are not aware of over billing .This post is to AWARE the TATA PHOTON PLUS customers to get aware of the over billing and fraud ness of tata photon billing and business strategy to loot INDIANS.

    I am mariya, my account no is 906272925,u people r cheating with customers’.I got 2277 Rs bill for the month of dec-jan 2011???i am a student i hardly use. How its possible. Fine amount is hundred’s I am upset with ur fake billing and poor service. Address to my problem immediately

    TATA PHOTON IMPROPER BILLING ---- LOOTING LOYAL CUSTOMERS

    My tata photon number is 9225622123. I got my Tata Photon connection in Sep 10, and had a usage plan of 5Gb free usage per month and monthly rental of 950Rs. My usage is very light and for the past 5 months my bill has never crossed even 3Gb per month. Suddenly, in the month of March 11, I received a bill of ~4400Rs stating that my usage has been around 11 Gb. I was baffled to see this because my usage had not exceeded the limit. I registered 2 complaints but Tata Photon people never responded by a single call. When I wrote to their customer desk, again the response was same. I took a screenshot of my usage statistics which clearly mentioned that my monthly usage is less than usage. But even after providing all these evidences, they never bothered to look into it sincerely and always send a stereotyped reply. Moreover, these guys did not even had an explanation of the usage screenshot which I sent to them. It seems that Tata Photon billing system is totally faulty with so many grievances against it and these people think that they can extract any amount which they wish from the customers. This whole thing has caused too much of trouble to me and I am planning to approach the proper consumer courts to address the issue. It has been very disheartening to see that a brand name like TATA has so pathetic attitude and they dont even care about their customers.

    Hi I am dharmraj . My tata photon no is 9266170762 i am highly surprised to see my sept-oct 2011 bill .It is Rs.4041 i hardly use daily. Only once or twice a week no i am not understand what to do i called tata customer care but also they are unable to understand my problem i also explained them but they were not ready to listen please help otherwise i am ready to leave your photon and never advise any body to use it .Simply your are looting people ..you can see my bill history i never user more than one Gb how can i use so much GB .I am student please help
