I am having Tikona broadband connection with Consumer ID 1100080903 ans subscribed their highest available plan UL1249 which claimes to give 1Mbps speed, I never get speed more than 400Kbps and some times even less than 100Kbps but inspite of complaining almost daily to costomercare since last one month there is no resolution of problem and now i am fed-up calling them but never get a satisfactory answers.

Very low speed
I have been a customer of Tikona for half a month now.
since the time of installation till now I have been experiencing very low speed.
I am supposed to get 300KBPS but I get only around 30kbps.
that is just 10% of what I am promised.
Complaints etc do not help.

I request for tikona internet new connection on saturday i.e. 12.12.09, but still i m not received any call from tikona, i call the customer care for more than 5-6 times, and they confirm me that engineer will come within day. but still no any call received and reply from them.......
pls do needful..

This whole company should be banned.
This whole company should be banned. They are a disgrace to the Indian broadband services.
I had a salesperson who lied to me telling that I would get 2Mbps speed even after the so called 'circut breaker' limit. Then I found the truth only after getting the connection and I was getting speeds lower then 64kbps. Even when I was supposed to get 2Mbps I was getting around 1.5Mbps max.
So I mailed the customer care for disconnection. (Their so called toll free no. doesn't work in Karnataka Mobiles). I waited. I mailed again. and again. It's been a week since I have been trying to get rid of this connection but their customer care don't even bother to even reply back.
This is the worst broadband experience I have ever had.
Hope people stop taking this useless connection and the company shuts down as soon as possible.

Pathetis Customer service
I have been a customer of Tikona for some 15 days customer no 1100274156 now out of which apart from the initial 2-3 days i have been facing problems with the speed i get. have logged a lot of complaint at the cusomer care but to no avail, whenever i call them they just nform me that my complaint has been forwarded to the concerned dept & the technician will visit in 1-2 days but no body has ever turned up even afrter ten days of the complaint ( cimplaint no - 1-251544687, 1-243792899 & 1-42081637

Tikona worst broadband experience
I was using Airtel from past five years.Like a fool i got this tikona connection thinking I would get better speed but I never get total 600 kbps. I now want to disconnect the connection . what to do?

I have same slow speed issue , i applied in 26th dec 2009 for this cheater company and from next day i started facing this slow speed problem. my tikona user id 1100235819, i was promised that i ll get 600kbps download speed bt never got. i called at customer care no. of times they do not have any solution except saying sir u r lying and u r getting gd speed. i sent them the snapshots bt no resolution. i talked to area manager 4 this bt again no solution. whenever i call him he doesn't ans my call.4-5 engineers came to house they checked it and they all know this issue, it fluctuates, most of time max 280kbps after 1 month he is saying, sir u r not getting proper signal thats y u hv slow speed problem and we dont hv permission to put another AP (access point) there. he told me he will forward my no to bulding permission guys to install new AP bt till now i hv not got any call from them
pls pls give any idea for this fraud co.
and my advice to all of those guys who wants to take tikona never go for it first they ll give u gd speed & after that drama starts.......

Horrible internet connection
TIKONA is the worst broad band connection i have ever seen...10 days they took for new connection...took all money and then on 11th day came and said they cannot get signals.....DO NOT GO WITH THEM.....even their speeds are pathetic it seems....want to burn ur hands then try....PLZZ JUST SAY A BIG NOOOOOOOO.......go for any other providers.....they dont lift calls and ignore customers completely......

Irresponsible behaviour of the tikona personnel
We had signed up for the tikona broadband on 31/01/2010. The tikona person had come to install, but could not do the same as the promised speed was not attained. We were promised that the matter will be sorted out i a couple of days. Inspite of several reminders to both their sales personnel and team leader(sround ten times), no one has bothered to turn up till date. they only give you empty promises. the toll free telephone is always engaged( looks like the phone is of the hook). Complaints to their customer care do not get any response.

worst speed issues in tikona
i have been a tikona subscriber for the last 2 months and had some serious speed issues.i opted for the 600kbps unlimited plan but dont get the speed always.only for some time of the day i get the speed and mostly even the web page does'nt load.i heve been complainting to the customer care executives and the service engineers did turn up a few times but hav not got the problem fixed.i am quite annoyed by this.

We have gone through the above mentioned complaints and suggest you few steps to do before going to consumer forum, first register your complaint with Tikona customer care and in case the customer care people are not able to help you out then send a written notice to the CMD of Tikona via registered post ( keep one copy with you ) mention all the details in it and ask them for the proper solution with in the mentioned time in Notice.
Visit : Notice before filing consumer complaint for notice reference.

Worst ISP & even worse customer service
My Tikona Wibro User ID is 1100258107. Complaint No. 1-299952440.
The internet is down since a month now but no one at Tikona is aware about the exact reasons nor any solution is available with them. Neither the customer service executives are helpful nor their area service manager Mr. Rahul T. Even their Nodal officer Mr. Vikas Bhosale (Mumbai) & Appellate Authority Mr. Nagesh Prasad doesn't seem to be interested in resolving the issue.
It doesn't end here, even though the internet is out of order since a month now these people have the audacity to send bill & demand payments without any waiver for the defect period.
Tikona is a fly-by-night operator. They will collect non-refundable deposit amount & pack their bags & wind-up any time.

bro's don't let the "download speed" word confuse you,
the actual download speed i.e (transfer rate) is around 1/8 th of your connection speed.
i'm using tikona broadband for around 4 days , my plan is FUL599 which promises 300 kbps, which is connection speed.
and i'm getting download speed around 40 kbps (since i'm having good signal strength around "52%"), just divide 300 by 8 and check it out.
