    Default bloody tikona connection

    this is one of the worst net in the world we wont get signal nither in day or in night dont trust them they will promise u that its the speedest net but it wont go beyond 20 kbps but they will say it is 300 kbps dont ever get this connection the service is very veyr very very very very very very very very very very worst if we call their costumer care no it wiil be engaged every time if we give a complaint they wont turn up even after 100 calls so please dont get this bloody connecton in your life please bann this connection

    I have taken this net connection on 8th Dec 2009. Before that the company's sales executive came and showed me the demo and told me that i can take connection as signal is proper and i took the 799 plan which provides me 600 kbps as told by the executive and asked me of Rs.500 as security deposit and the same will be adjusted in my 1st bill. But after sum day say 3 days i was unable to get the speed of 600 kpbs Till now i lodged more than 10 complaints against this but no one has reverted yet.They started me sending bills and also complained at the customer service But its been 3 months now my problems has not been solved. The local officers are of no use they are fooling to the public. Pls take action against this company they are providing worst services to the customer their infrastructure is not at all good then to they are providing connections to the customers My customer ID is 1100179709 and Plan is 799. I have read the previous complaint same has happened to me. I am requesting consumer forum to take strict action against the company. The are truly making fools to the customer.Also the billing department abused me for not making a payment.

    Thumbs down Tikona Very Slow & useless

    Hi guys,

    I was using Tikona for last two months with the plan of 600kbps. I never get a speed more than 100kbps. But they are billing more according to their tarrif but not providing service acoordingly. I request you all to not take TIKONA Wi-Bro connection for ur use. U can all go for any other good paln. Their service is very poor. I have called up to customer care more than 20 times in two months, then u all can know how their service is.....

    Default Tikona the worst service

    A tired customer from Hyderabad: User ID : 1100448889

    I subscribed Tikona couple of weeks back, and starting then i have problems but nothing. I was Airtel customer for 4 years and never had any issues, and their service was prompt, it is unfortunate that i shifted from Airtel to Tikona.

    This company sucks in terms of service and never offer the promised speeds. I was on an important assignment that i planned to do it from home and from strange reasons, the net didnt work, i made a call to cusotmer support and got a chance to speak to a supervisor named "Anand", who promised me prompt service. Even after explaining the issue and importance of my work, i guy calls me after a week's time asking what was the issue with the service.. WOW wat a fast service, i'm paying to get nothing, i had to request my friend and used his network to complete my work, if this would have been in US i would have sued this company for million dollars. A new company looks like they are here to make some quick bucks and vanish.

    I have sent a feedback on tikona site, and their is no response. guess what these days due to the competition, it is difficult to get loyal customers, and here this company is taking its cusotmers for granted, My Aitel has given a good option of getting back to them, and guess what, i'ts not more than a month, i'm saying good bye to this idiotic service.

    Thumbs up Tikona Boadband

    Don't confuse about the speed. Please notice the speed they are mentioning is in kbps. thats mean kilo bit per second. Please notice it is bit, not byte. If it is kBps, then it is byte. But always bandwodth is measured by bit. So, if you want to get the download speed, test it through speedtest.tikona.in. there you will get speed in kbps. To get in byte, devide it by 8.

    I've Tikona FUL799 (600kbps). And I'm really very satisfied with its performence. I'm getting more than 560 kbps download speed. Downloading a 700 MB movie in 3.5-4 hrs.

    Customer care is also helpful. But they are not experienced. And they are giving connection within 24 hours.

    Unhappy Tikona fraud Company

    I am having Tikona broadband connection customer ID 1100819226 having 449 which claimes to give 150Kbps speed, I never get speed more than 8Kbps and some times even less than 100Kbps but inspite of complaining almost daily to costomercare since last 15days month is no resolution of problem and now i am fed-up calling them but never get a satisfactory answers.

    hi,

    i am also suffering bcoz of the pthetic service given by tikona.
    firstly after making the application for new connection they took 2 months to actualy start the connection.
    later experinced too much issues with speed as well as down time (net was up only for 2-3 hrs a day)
    during payment of the bills after doing online payment it was reflected in the system so harrassed me to pay again the bill of 976/-
    just within 2 months the network gone completely. so asked customer care to send some technical assistance.
    but they took no action even after fighting with them for last 2 months.
    so asked them to disconnect the service, Cust. Care Executive fooled me by saying he has made the service disconnection request.
    so i called up after 2 weeks, i found that no such request has been registered, so i talked with their Manager. they also promised me the same thing. but no action has been taken.
    every time i call them they give me new query id and ask to call later.

    currently my money is stucked with them, and they are deducting every months bill from my credit amount.
    I dont understand what should i do now.

    Thumbs down Worst Internet Service Provider

    This complaint is w.r.t the worst internet service provided by Tikona Digital Networks to its customers.
    I recently subscribed to Tikona Digital Networks which projects itself as India's best Digital ISP.

    I am now victim of this ISP after paying Rs.500 towards intallation charges for a 300kbps internet with a Wi-Fi enabled modem.The service provider has deceived us by installing broadband connection with a cable modem. In addition this cable connection works only intermittently with a very low speed of 2Kbps to 3 Kbps.

    I made ample number calls to the Tikona care and ended up gaining nothing. Every time we make a call , they ask of a time period of 24 hours which now added up to 15 days.

    In spite of all these we have given a request for cancellation of my internet connection. I was told that , the disconnection will happen within seven days. Till date[8th day] neither the Wi-FI Modem is installed nor the termination of the subscription took place.

    Thumbs down Bad Service and misbehave from TIKONA Broadband

    Hi,

    I am most stupid who Disconnected Tataindicom's Broadband and Now having a every ending pain. My User Id is :1100370733 Name K. K. Pathak, In march 18'2010 after making 4-5 calls in TIKONA Customer care I finally dropped mail for connection Close and Got a reff.no. 1-362800724 and started waiting for any solution but 14 days gone. Then on march 29'2010 again I dropped a mail and asked for reason, in return I got another reffno.1-362800724 but no solution just got bill for monthly charges in the meanwhile I was every day making calls to Tikona Care for any solution or closing of connection. On April 8th 2010 I finally dropped a mail and said that I will not pay any bill please disconnect connection as I was irritated. Once again I got a reffno.1-389056148 but No solution.

    Now most interesting thing on April 16th 2010 I resaves a call from a tikona Care Girl asking for payment of bill when I sad that until and unless I don’t got the problem rectified of connection closed I will not Pay any Bill she Given my no to a boy who sad that you have to pay bill otherwise we keep going call you and I got 10 consecutive calls and this spoiled my meeting with my Client sitting in other county.

    Then I finally dropped a mail saying that I will go to consumer Court, after 15 min the stopped calling me.
    But my 299Kbps Speed Connection is still giving me speed between 40 to 100 kbps.

    Please any One let me know where I was wrong? and What to do Next?

    I am having Tikona broadband connection with Consumer ID 1100390780 ans subscribed their plan UL599 which claimes to give 300 kbps speed, I never get speed more than 9Kbps and some times even less than 6Kbps. I never complaint to any one. just say some words TO OUR FRIENDS......... HINDUSTAN MAIN CHORO KI KAMI NAHI HAI.........OR...................AGAR BEHTAR SEWA NAHI DE SAKTE TOH JANTA KO KYUN LOOT RAHE HO........................

    Default Tikona means fraud

    Hi everybody,

    This is for all to know that Tikona, Delhi is a complete fraud company.

    I had applied for their internet connection service in Shastri Nagar, North Delhi Area-52.

    Their representative came for the visit and told me that the connection can be installed and will work at my location. He asked for a cheque of Rs.500 which I gave in the name of 'Tikona Services'.

    They had promised that the connection will be installed within 7 days. After several calls and reminders, their technical representative came after 14 days, only to tell me that my location is out of range, and that they will not able to do the installation.

    He promised that my cheque will be duly returned.

    Ok, I said, and decided to wait for the cheque to return. In the meantime, I was told that Mr. Abhinav (M:9582797197) is the manager of this area for Tikona.

    I called him up and was told that the cheque will duly be posted back to me.

    Well, One month after, I checked my bank statement only to find that the cheque had been put into my bank and had got cleared!

    Tikona is a simply fraud company that you MUST AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

    And at no cost, ever give them a postpaid cheque, because they seem to be out to making fool of people, and just grab your money.

    BEWARE of such companies who do not respond to customer greivances, and take your money for a ride.

    Tikona is the most pathetic company I have ever seen. Please.. I would beg to all new people trying to get a new connection. DO not go for this. The cheap rates and everything is just a big sham. I had a great connection going and unfortunately I saw the tikona advertisement and fell for their plans. Pathetic. The demo was given for a 64 kbps connection while I wanted a 1Mbps one. He said you will get a speed increase according to your plan. And he "promised" me a download speed of 1/4th of the connection speed i.e 250 KBp/s even when i knew and told him its generally 1/8th of the connection speed. Still he insisted that its 1/4th for tikona and thats why they are better. Better my foot. Right after 1 hour I have not gone past speed of 40 KB/s let alone 250 KB/s. This is purely cheating. I dont know how DOT allows such companies to even operate and expand and allow them to take part in auction in 3g etc.They should at least be told to prove themselves before they can expand. This is only going to dupe more people. While the ex-VC of Reliance who now runs this Co is pocketing the money. I lost Rs 500 fo r a day. I have confiscated their modem and will return when I get my cheque back.

    My Name is Sameer Abdul i am also victim(SLOW INTERNET) of tIKONA WIBRO.,I started my service on 5th of march 2010,problem started from day one.I called them & launch a complaint.Tech support requsted me to wait for 48hrs.No one turned up i called again & check the status of the case#1-348211035,I was surprised coz the case is closed(Resolved).Again he asked me to wait next 48hrs(I don't have the case# for this call),someone called from TDN & said that its issue with modem("U"Shape) & they will install "NANO STATION" but its out of strock he asked me to wait 7 days.After 2 weeks i called up once again answer is same "NANO STATION" out of strock.

    I recieved bill on 2 April i was surprised coz they have charged me for FUL799 plan,but i have launched the complaint on 1st day that i am getting the speed(600Kbps) what ever they promised.Its shows how TDN cheating the customer.I paid the bill online & launched the complaint once again stroy continued for next 2 week but answer is same (1-399722841,1-402029716&1-408000701).Finaly a guy came with "NANO STATION" & tried to insatll it but its of no use coz my internet speed is still slow its lower then before.And he suggested me to cancel the service or degrade my plan(Person name: Mr.Sethu Contact no: +919840726700).

    I called support team once again to cancel the service but they are not letting me to do so.I mailed to TDN NODAL Officer for my region (Mr.Sivaguru Nathan V) & to Mr. Nagesh Prasad (Head Compliances) but no reply.

    I HAVE ATTACHED THE MAIL WHICH I SENT THESE IRRESPONSIBLE FELLOWS.

    I have sent a mail to your Nodal Officer TN but there is not reply till date.No one fixed my issue still my internet is not working.I called in for slow internet but now its not working.Please help me to fix the issue or cancel the service.

    I called Tech support they asked me to wait for next 48hrs to fix the issue.I am waiting more than 45 days.I think its more than enough to know about good service provider.

    its not possible to came & install the new modem.He said that will come
    tommorrow morning by 10-10:30am & install new modem.How will i accept
    this non-sence.I am i fool waiting from 4pm.I am ending this mail with
    a kind request please cancel my service i don't think you gusy can
    provide me good service.

    I NEED EXPLANATION WHY I BILLED FOR FUL799 600Kbps/Plan YOU GUYS KNOW
