Default Admin help needed: Breach of trust in Airtel broadband billing

    Hi Admin,

It was great to come across your forum while googling for help on consumer complaint against telecom companies.

This is regarding my Airtel broadband. I have a 512kbps connection in NCR and currently am being billed Rs1499/- per month for it. I just came to know that Airtel has changed the rates to Rs1099/- per month for the same, some 3-4 months back. But they still continued to charge me Rs.1499/-.

I think this amounts to a breach of trust where you continue charging higher amount to your existing customers for services whose rates have gone down. I have registered a complaint with their customer care. It would be great if you can help me about the next steps on the same.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Abhishek

    Hello,

I suggest you to check the product code, if the product code is same then only we can take some legal action against them.

Apart from this send a written notice via registered post or via email to your area nodal office, mention the price difference and ask them for the refund accordingly.

For notice reference you can visit : videocon fridge

If still have a question, feel free to contact us again.
    Regards,
    Admin,
