    Angry Netconnect Broadband billing issue

I am in Bangalore. I have taken a reliance net-connect connection (Number: 9343035964) around 2 months back. I have entered my contact details in the Reliance web site and an agent ( Puneet Saxena) from Vriti Infocomm Noida Delhi contacted me on the next day. He gave me a good offer – with one year subscription of Rs. 750 pm plan I get the netconnect modem free – and sent me a link for the online payment. After I made the payment the modem was delivered on the same day and was activated within 3 days.

On the month end, I got a bill from Reliance. The customer care guys say that my payment details are not there. I have lodged a complaint and they asked for the details of payment. I have given them all the details including the agent’s contact info. The agent says he had made the payment and this is a goof up done by Reliance. He even connected my call to some customer service manager who said he will resolve this. But till now there is no resolution. I got another bill, my data card is de-activated and the Reliance collection department sent someone to my home to collect the payment.

The data card is not serving me the purpose I have taken it for. This is very crucial for my job, over this lot of my time is spent on writing mails/calls. Each time I have to explain the story and that is the end.

What is very frustrating about the whole issue is that the Reliance communications departments have no communication in between. The collection/billing departments are not aware of the issue. They treat me like a customer who has defaulted his bill. I think they will start threatening calls now.

I have sent the same mail to the Karnataka Nodal officer. Also tried to call her, phone is always unanswered. For the mail, they asked for the proof of payment which I have provided. Like before, that's the end.

I want to give a case in consumer court for this. What should I do for this ? I have my credit card statement as proof of payment which I have sent to the customer support many times. I have spent lot of time on mails and calls.

    regards,
    sanal

before going into the consumer forum you have to first send a registered mail to company saying that you wish to go to court if not replied within 10-15 days.
