    Unhappy Tata Indicom - VSNL - slow and intermittent connectivity

    Hello,

    I have a Wireless broadband connection with VSNL Tata Indicom. Lately I am having a lot of connectivity issues - with connections getting interrupted and sometimes no connectivity at all. I raised a complaint through their customer service (complaint number 11024098). 2 teams visited my home to check the connection and found that the signal strength is poor and one of them said it was due to a new building constructed near the place where they have a tower!

    Repeated requests to several people to find a solution have fallen on deaf ears - their QC team promises to visit my place and re-orient the antenna on weekends - but they never turn up. And the worst part is the customer service say they have to close the complaint and raise a fresh one due to some policy of closing all complaints within 3 days!!!

    I still have no idea what to do and have over Rs.2000/- in my account - a request to refund me that amount and cancel my connection was also not accepted! Completely frustrated - please help me.

    Angry Tata Indicom (Pune) - Internet Connectivity and Slow Speed

    Hello,

    I've been using Tata Indicom CDMA 1x USB MODEM for the last 18 months or so and had only problems related to Internet Connectivity and Slow Speed. I've raised this issue with their incompetent customer care / technical department atleast 10 times in the recent past, however the issue is still unresolved. Lately,I have sent two emails dated 25th and 26th Nov'09 regarding the same to their helpsedk, nodal officer and appleate authority but no response in writing apart from one of their engineers calling me up asking for if he can visit to check the problem or my be the settings of the computer. The same engineer had come earlier as well and agreed that there is slow speed and connectivity issue. The reason why they are not writing me back on the written complaint via email as may they don't want to go on record.

    I'm fed up of all this and want them to drag them to court. Please guide. It has caused me mental stress and headache. It takes atleast 7 minutes to open a website.

    I'll not recommend Tata Indicom to anyone. It is one of the worst service providers one could ever come across.

    Please suggest whom should i approach.
