Hi, perhaps the worst thing I have done in my life was to buy a Tataindicom USB internet device with lowest priced connection of Rs. 300. I used this for an year and made payment regularly. I stopped using this connection and called their customer support, and even received an email from them confirming disconnection of my account. Now after several months without any further details they sent me a court notice asking me to go and meet the Deputy Registrar , Opposite to District Legal Service Authority, Ground Floor, City Civil court complex, Behind Cauvery Theater, Bangalore.

I'm not sure what to do. The outstanding amount they have mentioned is Rs. 1216. I don't even mind paying the amount to just close the chapter, but very disappointed the fact they sent a legal notice without any mention, any clarification for a connection I have closed, and got the confirmation.

Please suggest how to proceed on this.
