    Angry Airtel DSL Change of Plan False Commitments



    Hi,

    I am an Airtel customer. I have been using Airtel Fixed line, Mobile and Broadband services for the past so many years.

    This is with reference to my discussion with your team for change in plan of my Airtel DSL (011-45120687). I was using your Airtel 499 unlimited plan some time back. Then, I wanted to get it disconnected as I got a corporate connection. At that time, I was advised by your team that I should not go for disconnection and was advised to go for advanced rental 750 plan and was assured at that time that I can switch back to my previous plan of Rs. 499 anytime whenever I need it again. On 10th August 2012, I again called up your team and was promised that this 499 plan will be reactivated. After that, till date I have been offered this plan reactivation 6 times only to get a call from Airtel next day that this plan can't be re-activated.

    Is this the way Airtel treats its loyal customers?? Every time, your executive calls up, says sorry, and say that they will activate this plan, and say that since they have committed this plan, they will do it. Then next day, again, I get a call from your team saying that this can't be activated. This means that there is no value of commitments made by you.

    This has happened 6 times in the last 20 days. This has caused mental harassment to me and I have suffered a lot due to this constant harassment. I don't want to continue with Airtel in any way as this timeline of 20 days has pressurized me to take this step.

    I want this number to be disconnected right away and I need the refund of my Advanced rental from the day of my complaint (August 10, 2012). There is no point in discussing this any further, and no more commitments and calls from Airtel will be entertained in this regard.
