To correct you, lastly sent email was dated 14th Aug 2012..
Please dont copy paste same replies on the mail, if you read the email chain you have already mentioned that on 10th Aug, and I haven’t yet received any communication from your side.
And today again you are saying the same thing.. what is the definition of ‘shortly’ a year or so?
FYI I got the transaction number for the transaction made in this case from my credit card company : 049514
on account Connect India Noida In.
    Dear Appellate Authority,
I Just called separate service number mentioned by you on reliance site, to my surprise the guy on other hand said there was no such procedure of pre-paying on internet before your receive the device. however he mentioned to visit nearby reliance web. Now what on the earth they are suppose to do, if you guys sitting in front of computer cant resolve this.
I am no way entertaining this.. and will make sure there is some strict action taken.. if not professionally then legally. And do watch out for forums having my feedback.
I dont care about the money.. but I will see to it my frustration is refunded..
ThankS for your till now support..
    Br,
    Pravin.

    Hello,
Now this is the limit.. Tell me what is your companies SLA?
Is this the way you treat your customer? I mean yet to be customer.. as per the status..
Now I am really very scared to avail any of your service… at the starting point you are setting this expectation .. imagining the state while I am using your service is drastic one..
    Respected Appellate authority,
You can make sense of whatever I am saying from below email chain, there is no single communication from your side to assure me what the heck is happening behind the screen apart from this just one email sent from your customer care cell dated 10th Aug. You promise to deliver device in 2 hours and its been a week now and I am yet to receive the device . without any communication that whether I will receive it or not.
You guys are no way fit to handle customer escalations, I wanted the device in urgency I was about to travel away from my place.. I did not get it on time, I had to use my cell phone’s crapy network in roaming..
I would have understood any of your problem or reason, but atleast communicate/notify it.. how would I guess it sitting here..
No, I am not even listening to any reason now, I just want to get my money refunded, please tel me the procedure..
I can atleast expect that from you, without any problem.. ThankS for your co-operative and interactive 24x7support.. really appreciate it.
    Regards,
    Pravin

    Hi Puneet,
ThankS for atleast notifying, I was about to complain this incident with police for online fraud, as there was not a single communication from your side after the transaction was done.
I really don’t understand why there is so urgent need to ask the customer to transact if there is no available stock with you.
I really dont believe this, your call representative said that you will receive the Netconnect+ device within 2 hours on 8 Aug 2012, lets assume it was late that day so you could have sent it the very next day, I had provided both office and residential address. And even if ‘as you said’ stock was not available you could have called me and informed me about the same.
I mean look at the communication gap, today on 13 Aug 2012 after getting your email I came to know that there is stock shortage i.e. from 2hours delivery it took 4-5 days just to notify, and god knows when should I expect the delivery now. But I am atleast thankful that someone is aware that transaction was done by me, because lastly (9 Aug) when I called reliance customer care they were not aware of any such transaction which led to panic situation.
Another reason to not believe is that my friend Mr. Deepak Jadhav Just bought Netconnect+ device on 9th-10th Aug it self from your reliance center Baner-Pune.
Interestingly he got the same plan that was mentioned to me, at just Rs.2000/- (Device + Rs.750 per month plan for 3 months) the only difference is that he went in-person to the center and I ordered it online, can you please explain me the discrepancy?
I am really not here to fight.. but the starting impression you have given is really bad and frustrating, please make a note to atleast update the customer what is happening..
Anyways the main reason for which I had ordered the device in urgency is gone, I had to travel Bangalore last weekend for my meetings for which I needed the device urgently.. I used my mobile for that purpose.
So delivering it now wont serve any good to me.
    Best Regards,
    Pravin

    Appellate Authority,

I even doubt if there is someone on your side that is looking at customer emails, there is not a single response from your side..
What should I do to reach you, I called your representatives, I sent emails.. still no bloody action has been taken yet..

Arre atleast communicate that you are fit for nothing and I should legally take action, because that should be the only language you understand.

However I am doing my job of updating the email thread, so that I have enough of my evidence to prove my point. Mr. Ganesh Choudhary as promised did not communicate of further action that was taken from your side.. I mean that was as expected though..

    ThankS!

I came to know that 'connectindia' is separate entity that takes care of online purchase of reliance data card.. Anyways I sent them feedback as below because their 'complaint' and 'refund' options were not working.
    Hi,
I was not aware of this link, else I would have added my complaint here too before.
Anyways I am about to take this within consumer court..
and I am really fed-up of re-iterating my complaint , if you want to have a look please refer my written complaint in consumer forum
    consumerforums.in/no-refund-no-correct-communication-from-reliance-for-device-delivery
There is least hope from you.. but still I am doing my bit.

Finally I received the device on Saturday 18th August, the shameless (sorry but he deserves this caption) executive who actually sold me the device online, called me and pleaded to accept the device, with emotional reason of his mother was not feeling well so he had to leave office and that my personal details were with him, what a fool, if it was with him then how could I receive email from his manager about the stock shortage. However he apologized for the no communication, which I had to accept because the delivery guy has already left for my address, he promised me to activate the device next day by 11.00 AM, here I am now writing this email but the service is not yet been activate i.e. 2 and half day and I am still waiting..
For condolence he had given me his mobile number, I even contacted him twice in this duration but no effect, same answer I will take it on high priority..
Feeling as if I am made fool and black mailed twice in a row.
Another funny incident is the delivery guy was asking me for some ‘chai-paani’, for which I scolded him.. what a shame, they don’t get paid for their job or what?
However today I got call from Reliance customer cell regarding this complain on forum he confirmed that they have not yet activated my device for unknown reason I guess they might not have received my documents as I did not gave ‘chai-paani’ to the delivery guy..
Anyways I have asked him to escalate the issue and let me know what action has been taken on this.
I will keep them following because already they have wasted my ample time so it doesn’t matter if some more time gets added to it.

One more email chain from connectindia as soon as I submitted documents to delivery guy.
There is no response for this email.. also their customer support page does not work properly. So the only thing I could do is just provide feedback on that page, and god knows when they are going to respond it.

The latest update is that even as of now the device not activated, I havent received any sort of communication from reliance that device is been activated, where as lastly when I spoke to Mitesh the reliance executive who had called me after seeing my complaint on forum said that they do not have any such pending activation entry for the device number received i.e. they did not receive my documents, Luckily I got call from connect india yesterday verifying my complaint wherein he said documents were uploaded and he was not aware why reliance has not yet activated..
Well anyways I hold Reliance at fault because it was their site from which I clicked buy now.. So they are responsible to provide me answer.

    RCOMCare,
I received call from Mitesh next day i.e. Sat 25th saying that the device is now activated and I can use it now, however they Mitesh and Technical Support guy on call were not able to activate the connection or start the internet usage, so they suggested me to visit nearest Reliance Web.
I did Visit the Reliance Web in Pimpri. FYI Mitesh, the representative lady said there was no such email received from your side to handle my complaint in top priority, even after telling as you suggested that I was directed by Maharashtra head.
Anyways that apart, One of the customer in queue was able to help me in configuring the settings with 3-4 easy steps and damn it worked just like that, I was bit surprised because he hardly new anything about gadgets etc in detail. And thought how it was not possible for your technical guy on call to solve this easy problem.

I checked the speed by downloading and testing it on speedtest.net.in and speedtest.net it gave me result of 0.9-1.0Mbps at reliance world web center.
I was happy and everything is working fine, but I was soon turn down to see that the speed at my home was as less as 0.04-0.06Mbps.. and the next day device again stopped working.
i.e. I am facing the same problem that we saw during initial configuration for activation on call with your technical guy on saturday. I am attaching few snaps for your reference.

I may going to visit the web-world on my way home, better they solve it else next time it would be your technical guy coming at my residence and solving it, I am not going to travel anywhere. I will be launching different complaint for it tomorrow. As I will be emailing your customer service today, sorry I dont have time to sit idle and call your representatives.

The most important point to discuss:
    - I want to know what action was taken against the representatives involved so far, I mean Connect India + Local (and email) Appellate Authority for not responding promptly? I know you said that it was escalated but how would I come to know?
    - Also you should mention your SLA somewhere so that the customer has idea how long he should wait.

Hope the activation and speed problem gets resolved soon, else will be meeting here soon..

ThankS for your till now support

    RComCare/Mitesh,

I re-visited your Reliance Web World situated in Aundh, where I met Amit as per him the device is showing active status in your system..
When I asked him to double check, he said that the OPS status is showing as - Barring for document.
He said that please provide your document once again to the representative who sold you the device..

Now tell me what to do? If you say I can apply for leave in my office so that we can trace the problem with different peoples and with laid back attitude..
I mean that is what I am doing since I have opted and buyed this device online from reliance..
Also I am worried about the speed as stated in earlier post.. because even if we activate the very next problem would be of speed.

The biggest mistake ever I made is by paying 3 months bill in advance.
