    Angry BSNL broadband

    I am having BSNL broadband ADSL 500c plan
    From last month i am facing a problen,frequent disconnection ....from 3 day even my landline is not working!...
    :D..I complained them but no 1 is responding!...am tired of this crap....am mentally damaged!!!:@.....thought of complaining to Consumer court.please tell me how to( procedure).

    Hi Sahan,

    I would request you to post the full problem with details.

    Second thing is I am also facing the same problem from last 2 weeks.
    On dusheherra weekend from friday night to monday night the broadband connection was disconnected from the centre and on gandhi jayanti weekend from thursday night to sunday night it was disconnected.

    It was a Holiday for them so No one was at the customer care centre to pick up the phone. Even the IVR response was kept on Hold for the time period.

    SO might be the same problem was at your place too.
    Post your full problem So that we can ask admin for its solution.

    Dear Sir,

    For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Pls. provide us your complete residential address as soon as possible, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Nodal officer.

    I am now very much annoyed by this BSNL broadband services.
    I have a Unlimited Broadband Plan i.e. of Rs.750/- per month + Ph charges which cost upto a monthly rental of around Rs.1200/-

    This time My net went OFF on Thursday(i.e. 05/11/09) morning and it got connected just 2 hrs back. My land-line Bill was due on 05/11/09 and I received the bill on 02/11/09 which I paid right away thru internet.
    But My land-line was already disconnected by them. I don't know why when the due date was 05/11/09.


    Now I tried calling all the numbers given on the Bill from my mobile but in-vein coz No one picked up the call at any of the public grievance numbers.
    On IVR customer Care If you call you will be stuck into the Voice response for the next 1-2 hrs and everytime after 15-20 mins call gets disconnected So anyhow you have to try calling again and again.
    If you are calling from your landline then these calls are free but imagine if you call from your Mobile then what will happen.

    Then On saturday eve My phone got started but the internet was still down.
    I called customer care several times and on sunday Morning when the call finally got thru the Voice response the lady at the other end told me that the server in the particular exchange in which my Ph comes is Down from the morning.(This is a standard reply from thr end which you will get for every other problem you are facing with Broadband.)

    I asked her that when the server is down from Sunday Morning then why my net was disconnected from the last 3 days. She was not having any answer and told me to wait for sometime.

    Today morning I got a call from Indiranagar Customer relationship officer and he gave me the No of Whitefield exchange SDE and told me to talk to him coz he will be the only one who can solve my problem.
    He even told me to check the nos on the bill and call them in such emergencies and problems but when I told him that I tried calling those nos for 3 days and no one picked up the ph he went against his words and said those nos are wrong and bcoz of that problem happens. You must ask correct nos from the directory services and call on that.
    (Now tell me when My landline ph was disconnected and internet was not working How was I supposed to call or browse directory services from BSNL.)

    From the morning I tried calling that no which he gave me, so many times and the same thing happened that No one is picking up the ph thr too.

    Right now the Net is working fine. So No Issues right now.
    But the problem is every sat/sun and public holidays this same thing happens to the Internet.
    I call the customer care but they never had any proper answer and all the answer I get every-time from them is "The server is dowm from the morning and the problem will get rectified in 24 hrs. Plz wait and call us after 24 hrs if the problem persists" even when My net is not working from the last 24-48 Hrs.

    Plz tell me in this condition whom to send the complaint and what exactly should I do to rectify this problem Permanently.

    This is a complaint from area which comes under Brookefield Exchange, Bangalore which comes under Whitefield Exchange, Bangalore.

    Any further details if you want then ask me anytime as I am always Logged ON to Consumer Forum.

    Default Never go for BSNL, MTNL and Sify

    Hello,

    BSNL and the MTNL both are pathetic, if you approach the higher athorities then also your problem will remain same, we were using MTNL and most of the time it was down or the speed was tooooo slow. I am a web designer and broadband is the key of our business, so I swithched to sify but sify is also the same even it is pvt. Ltd company, then I suitchecd to tata wimax and now its running smooth for last 6 months.
    I also approched the nodal officers, MD broadband, but no use they just give you some compunsation but we do not need this we need broadband for what we are paying to you.
    As the employee are taking their sallery on time without any effort then why they people take some effort to improve their services. Why they are not launching the wimax services right now, because they have taken a huge bribe from the private companies, I think this is the only reason they are not geiving the services.
    I think our Govt. should take some serious action because the loos of MTNL in last quarter was 84 crore. I thik this is very much suffecient to open the Govt eyes.
    My personal suggestion is use any broadband but never go for MTNL and Sify.

    Thanks for sharing your experience; we also align with you, no use to approach nodal officers or even higher authorities.

    Customer’s strength of MTNL is going down and the lose is increasing, but still the services level is same.

    If you need to knock the consumer forum then just send a written notice to your area nodal office and mention all the details in it.

    Then wait for 15-20 days, and then file a case in the consumer forum. (Because they will not reply you even after receiving the notice :D )
    But my personal suggestion is to switch over to some other services provider.



    Note : Visit videocon fridge this may help you in sending notice to the higher authorities.

    Angry BSNL..The journey from bad to worse

    I had booked my broadband connection on 15th July and still I am yet to get my connection. The customer service provided by BSNL is pathetic. I think they are caught in an anarchaic time warp. Its so rediculous to know that it takes more than a month to provide the connection. Unless BSNL wakes up to the current reality about the competition it faces with others, it will surely turn into a loss making company. This is very evident from the loss that they have booked in the last financial year. In my opinion it is better to go for Airtel if you wish to forgoe the hart ache and endless wait that i had to go through. This i say with confidence as i could get airtel connection within two days
