Reliance broadband Refund issue

    Angry Reliance broadband Refund issue

    This is Atul Mohan; I have purchased Reliance broadband connection from Reliance representative on dated 24-Feb-2012 and from that day I am struggling to get refund due to no coverage of reliance broadband in FEB/March Month.


    From 01-Feb-2012 to 24-Feb-2012: I was receiving calls from Reliance Company to offer broadband connection at residence.
    24-Feb-2012 – Finally I issued an Hsbc Account cheque 334941 to Mr. Ankush Sapra (8802670753) as a reliance broadband connection installation/connection fee.
    24-Feb-2012 –Mr. Ankush (Reliance Rep id number -1245) told me to wait 2 days and technical person will call me.
    29-Feb-2012 – Processing going on.
    01-Mar-2012 – I came to know that area is not covered by reliance so will hand-over the Cheque with document to home in evening.
    20-Mar-2012 – Till 20th march I tried my level best to take cheque and document back from Reliance Rep. At the end email to customer care about the same.
    01-April-2012 – Number of emails exchanged in this regards till 01-April-2012.
    09-April-2012 – My cheque was cleared
    from my account without any information to me.
    09-April-2012 – Mr. Alok Singh Customer care told me that we have forwarded this case to refund department and
    they will contact me soon and also regret for this inconvenience.
    26-April-2012 – Being not heard anything back again email to customer care to know the status.
    02-May-2012 – I received a call from reliance and they are going to send me the refund in a week’s time.
    16-May-2012 – No information and again email sent to know the status.
    28-May-2012 - Appellate Escalation Team instructed broadband customer care to revert on this case.
    29-May-2012 – Received an email from Broadband Ccare that “We have taken up your request about refund to the concerned department”.
    12-June-2012 – Requested the status again.
    20-June-2012 – Received one email “Your complaint for refund issue, kindly note that we are working on the case and have taken up your concern with the respective team for redressal on priority. In addition, you will get refund amount within 45 -60 days from the date of escalation.”
    24-July-2012 – Requested the update again.
    26-July-2012 – Again Appellate Escalation Team instructed broadband customer care to revert on this case.

    I am attaching the above email below for your reference and expecting solution at this point.


    I am roaming round and round and do not have any response on refund till date, I am not sure what is my fault in buying reliance broadband. My whole experience with broadband customer care and appellate team was much instructed helpful but they do not want to refund hard owned money by me.

    May I also know Which 45 -60 days customer care is talking about [In addition, you will get refund amount within 45 -60 days from the date of escalation] in every mail from 1st April - First escalation (Marked below in Bold Red) from 09-April-2012 - second escalation (Marked below in Bold blue) from 28-May-2012 - Appellate Escalation Team revert from 29-April-2012 - Escalation again or from 20-June-2012 or after this email in reply or from every email which I will send in future ?

    Not resolved yet...

    Initially, these are the major discussed points over the call with associate: -

    1. We have taken Mr. Ankush on phone call and he asked you to call in 10 minutes and later on didn't pick your call.
    2. You requested me to visit Reliance office where Mr. Ankush is working in Maur Vihar Phase 3.
    3. Note down the senior person name and number to discuss further being you are in Mumbai too far.
    4. I have also been requested to provide the full details with cheque number and bank statement showing check number and clear transaction with date.
    5. I was agreed over the call.

    Next Phase: -

    1. I visited on Mayur Vihar Ph-3 address to talk about the case but there is no office on this address.
    2. After discussing with Local reliance person I came to know the exact address in Patpar Gunj Area.
    4. I called Mr. Himanshu and note down the exact address to meet.
    3. Finally Today, I visited Reliance Communications office (Building No. 231, Patrparganj indl. Area, Delhi) and Meet Mr. Amit who looks like Customer care manager.
    4. Once Mr. Amit opened the system I got my name and cheque details on a different person address.
    5. I also came to know the wrong person CAF no as well (17800003709486).
    6. Mobile number is also not mine there on file for dated 31-March-2012 email.
    7. I tried enquired some more about this fraud (Cheque and Name is mine but address is not why, where they have install this connection on my name and document).
    8. I am not sure what is happening here, why my document has been used for someone else.
    9. At last I have been introduced by Mr. Amit to Mr. Vimal Kumar Pachauri(9310372680) saying Team Lead, however on Visiting card mentioned - Enlerprise Business designation.
    10. According to Mr. Vimal, after getting Head office call to Mr. Ankush last time, he was able to made a cheque ready on my name and will be delivering to me today sometime in evening.

    The whole things are just mess, hard to faith on anyone after seeing those details. Mr. Amit told me that he will check this case more in detail however I am feeling very helpless being My Pen Card, Photo and Voter ID card Xerox is using by someone else on my Name.

    I beg you to check this whole fraud, I know I have done mistake to think about taking reliance broadband but not this much big.

    Note: With reference to My email and discussion with Relaince Rep My CAF number is 17800029405893 and fraud person CAF Number is 17800003709486.

    10. According to Mr. Vimal, after getting Head office call to Mr. Ankush last time, he was able to made a cheque ready on my name and will be delivering to me today sometime in evening.

    The whole things are just mess, hard to faith on anyone after seeing those details. Mr. Amit told me that he will check this case more in detail however I am feeling very helpless being My Pen Card, Photo and Voter ID card Xerox is using by someone else on my Name.

    I beg you to check this whole fraud, I know I have done mistake to think about taking reliance broadband but not this much big.

    4. Once Mr. Amit opened the system I got my name and cheque details on a different person address.
    5. I also came to know the wrong person CAF no as well (17800003709486).
    6. Mobile number is also not mine there on file for dated 31-March-2012 email.
    7. I tried enquired some more about this fraud (Cheque and Name is mine but address is not why, where they have install this connection on my name and document).

    Default Fraud with Pen card, Voter id Card and Bank Cheque

    Issue is not resolved yet, your representative is asking me the latter to close down the connection with address proof and pen card copy. My question is if the connection has not been provided by you till date what connection is running for which you need my written permission.

    There seems to be fraud done with me, i am not understanding what is going on. You says case is closed however case seems to be more than refund but documents fraud case, please investigate.
