Airtel Broadband Connection Shifting - No response from Airtel I had logged a request with Airtel via their customer care on 20th July, 8:00 AM for shifting of my Airtel connection (account # 13681619) from Patel Nagar, Delhi to Dwarka Sector 10, Delhi. I was pleasantly surprised when Airtel technician visited my new home for wiring and installation. And thats where the horror started. They completed the wiring work but did not activate my connection citing some technical errors and promised to fix it by next day.
I waited for next two days to hear from Airtel. When I did not hear from them, I called customer care to check status of the activation and all they knew was that my shifting request was open and they will urgently arrange for a call back from their back end team. But it never happened. Since then I have called Airtel customer care almost 50 times from my cell phone (and calls are charged @ 50 paisa/min) and have spoken to 50 different agents plus 20 of their so called seniors but all I get to hear is that my shifting request is open and they will arrange for a call back as soon as possible.
Frustrated with the delay and Airtel's no interest in resolving this issue, I requested customer care team to connect me to their cancellation team and I was tolled that they can be called since my shifting request is open. So I am stuck in a loop.
Finally I called the nodal officer to escalate this matter and hoped that they will be able to do something but there too I was told that this is being taken on high priority and the services will be resumed as soon as possible. It has been a day since I called them and I am yet receive a call from Airtel to resolve my issue.
I am a customer of Airtel from last 4 years and I always had options and reasons to switch to other service providers but I always counted on Airtel services. But with regret, I have to say that Airtel is non-sensitive towards its customers, its front end teams are helpless, its tech/backend teams do not work and in my case it has it lowest level of its services. Airtel has made sure to damage my routine, the overall shifting and above all my work.
My objective is to convey this issue to the right people who can help me to either get Airtel to resolve my issue or simply get rid of Airtel.
