Tata Indicom Broadband-No response to complaints even after 5 days Sir,
I recently took a Tata Indicom Broadband connection(on 21-09-09-date of commencement of service).Under the plan I was promised 256kbps bandwidth(8am-10pm) and 1.5Mbps(10pm-8am and 24hrs on sundays). Apart from the very first day I have been experiencing very slow bandwidths (max 140kbps) throughout, even on sunday.The speeds specified are in bandwidth terms and not the download speed(around7-10Kbps download speed). I have repeatedly made calls and registered complaints with the Tata customer service unit. They initially joined 2 of my complaints together under one complaint number.When my problem was not resolved,they assigned me a new complaint number which I think is simply a ploy on their part to lower the number of days the complaint has remained unattended.I am specifying the complaint numbers here : 10801238(the first) and 10814746(second) registered on 24-09-09 and 25-09-09 respectively)
To date, I have yet to receive a call back from their side as to the status of my complaint, nor has it been resolved.I had specifically mentioned the call back as I was being forced to call them up several times a day.The only response I get was that they would look into the problem and "Escalate" the status of my complaint.Emails to the nodal officer also has yielded no results.
At one point, when I called up to enquire on complaint status, they claimed I had reported the complaint "Resolved" to their technical officer who had "contacted" me.When I said I was not aware of any such contact, they again repeated the "escalate status" dialogue and left me to rot.They even say I am not eligible for any compensation at all as I was still able to connect to the internet.
I have paid 4 months advance rental in full and when I ask them to return the money and cancel the connection if they cannot fix it, they say refunds are not available to the customer.
I am stuck. I have no where to complain to and my problem still persists.I have screenshots of my bandwidth, measured using their own speed test(speedtest.vsnl.com/speed) at various points in the day and on sundays.Kindly advise me on the steps I can take.
I have attached 2(two) screenshots with GMT time display on my browser to verify the time of day, showing bandwidth and download speeds.

Dear Sir,
For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the Appellate Authority of the Company if you are not getting any help from the Nodal officer. Pls. provide us your complete residential address as soon as possible, to get the contact details of your Area Circle, Appellate Authority.Regards,

TATA indicom Broadband complaint Dear Sir,

Last 2 days back (3 Jan 2011) Tata Indicom recovery man put off my antenna in my absence.
I have paid all Bills on timely
I had been calling customer care of TATA indicom but all are in vain. Everytime they
Lodge the complaint and give me a new complaint number but no service is provided.
Then I contacted customer care on email ie customerservice@tatacommunications.com
I request the concerned authority to look into the matter and do the needful.

Tata communications - internet coonectivity & horrible customer care service Hello,
This concerns our internet connection under the username: ieguild@vsnl.net.
I have suffered so much at the hands of Tata Communications’customer care representatives that I actually don’t know where to begindescribing my predicament.
We have been experiencing problems with the connectivitysince 1 week and from the past 3 days there is no internet connection. Ours isa business enterprise where being online in one of the most importantprerequisites.
I have registered a complaint so many times and nothing hashappened to rectify the problem as yet. Your customer service people have made noeffort in helping us and that coming from an organization swearing upon goingan extra mile for customer service and satisfaction is very disappointing .
The complaint number registered today is: 14582886
Two numbers of complaint vendors were forwarded to me:
1. 66255517 Gulzar
2. 9990449615 (name not known)
And both of them are annoyingly indifferent towards ourcomplaint. I am currently not in Delhi and have been trying to get in contactwith these two people and I have been put on hold indefinitely, hung up on,been spoken to rudely or simply blanked.
We have been losing out on our business and revenue since somany days and Tata Communications is doing nothing about it.
The list goes on and on and therefore, my anger,helplessness and irritation know no bounds.
I NEED THIS SORTED AT THE EARLIEST AS I WILL NOT PAY FORSOMEONE ELSE’S INCOMPETENCY, MISCOMMUNICATION AND MISBEHAVIOUR. I NEED COMPENSATION FOR MYREVENUE LOST. I NEED TO KNOW WHAT WILL BE DONE REGARDING THIS AS WE HAVE ALWAYSBEEN DELIGENT CUSTOMERS.
I INTEND TO TAKE THIS FURTHER BECAUSE OF THE ILL-TREATMENT AND LOSS I SUFFERED BECAUSE OF TATA COMMUNICATIONS.
HOPE YOU WILL TAKE THIS ON HIGH PRIORITY.
