Airtel Broadband - Continuous issues for 4 weeks and callous attitude of service personnel I have been complaining to Airtel about my broadband connection for close to 4 weeks now and nothing happens.The first complaint 17579924 was lodged on 22 June. The airtel rep. came and without checking anything said "You need to replace modem. It is faulty." When I asked him to show some other modem to showcase connection is proper he sadi "yeh meri sardardi nahi hai - I dont care whether your internet works or not". I sent couple of mails and even lodged one complaint on this forum but apart from one return call nothing changed. Harrassed by Airtel, I bought a new modem.The technician came to configure it (this was a different person) and connection started working. However, 2 days later it broke down again and also, my phone stopped working.When I complained to Airtel on 16 Jul (reference number 18725286); they didn't send anyone within stipulated time. When I asked for a reason; they sent a mail saying that I have a faulty modem. This is shocking. Without even sending anyone, Airtel from their office is mentioning that my modem is faulty which is a new modem. This clearly shows the same person who had refused to work earlier has closed this complaint without even coming over. I would like to mention that they have a highly incompetent service person in Sohna Road Gurgaon (name: Bharat) who closes out customer complaints without even visiting. How is Airtel able to claim that new modem is also faulty without sending anyone ?I am surprised at the callous attitude and behavior of service personnel.
