    Unhappy airtel (delhi)

    This is prashant gupta residing in east delhi. i had booked an airtel fixed line connection for my home. a person came my home and gave me receipt as a confirmation of my booking n took 1500/- cash. the person who gave me receipt promised me that instruments will be installed within three days but after 10 days when i talked to airtel customer support they told me that service is not available in my area (but i was assured by the customer executive about the service) then after one week customer support told me that they will refund my money but i have got no response from airtel.... they r making false claims since the 1st day....

    For your complaint you will have to send a written complaint to the nodal officer of the Company. Wait for the response for at least 10 days because the Nodal officer will have to provide you any solution within 10 working days. Send a written complaint and kindly revert back soon after getting any reply from him. The address is:

    Exclamation Problem with the services from Airtel

    Hi,

    I am using the Airtel number from last 1.6 years and have been complaining abt the network from last 9 months at my area. And when i last time called the customer care they have the excuse that they have closed the case as some on has put in the notes that the srevices are better as per the customer were as i have no idea how can he put in such notes with out informing me.
    Also they have stoped my services with out informing me due to wich i missed some inportant phone calls and missed my flight.
    The bill which i requested them to deliver at my home address was stoped after a month as they have asked me to show the address profe which i was not informed earlier.

    Plz do lemme know who is responsile for all the trouble i am facing with Airtel

    Thumbs down Airtel broadband - very rude customer service personnel

    I have an Airtel broadband connection and needed to recover my access password. All that's needed is to type in the URL of the modem in a windows system but I have a Macbook. For something that could've been resolved easily in 2 min on the phone, Airtel made me wait for two days and then I had to face an ill behaved man on the phone and in person. Who is responsible? Does Airtel bother at all to coach their employees for manners? (His name was Amit Kumar Giri)

    I called Airtel customer care and they had no idea how to do that in a Macbook so they offered to send a technical person to my house. When the technical person called he curtly asked "problem hai?" and was going to put the phone down when I cut in and told him to come with instructions for a Macbook. He asked me to arrange for a Windows system as he didn't know how to do that in a Mac and was again going to hang up when I told him I could arrange it in a few minutes and he could give me instructions on the phone. He said he had to come to my house to figure it out. Since I know only the modem URL was required for it I didn't buy it, but he hung up and didn't even give me a chance to speak. When he came over after 3-4 hours I asked him what was so special in the process that I couldn't be told on the phone he replied very rudely that I was saying that only because it has been quickly resolved. Now, being a technical person myself I know all he did was type in the URL of the modem to get access to it and nothing else. On telling him that, he stood up threateningly and started talking loudly and rudely to me. Being a lady I felt threatened and had to ask him to leave my house immediately.

    Default calls from unknown number

    hi--this is rituraj khanna,ny cell number is 9958037999,yesterday eve while driving back home i recd a call,which got disconnected and i called back from an unknown number 00923477288771 saying that they r calling from the airtel office and i had recd a prize of 25lakh rupees on my this cell number from the airtel people,he asked me to park my car and write down a number of their head office,which i did not,and he asked me to call back once i have stopped,which i did not,i did not bother to check where the call was from,but now i got an sms saying that i had made a call to this no,i checked on the net and got to know that this was not a very nice place to get a call from.i now feel if i was lured into this i would have been in big time trouble,pls tell me what i can do in future coz we really cant make out where the call is coming from.

    Default Airtel Number 9818688970, Disconnected since last 6 months

    Dear Sir,
    I was using this number since last 7 years as postpaid, 6 months before I converted it to the Prepaid. I personally went to the CP, M-5 branch and submit all the documents, After that It was working fine, after 15 days my number was diconnected when I ask for the reason- The reason given to me that non submission of the documents. After that I submi the documents three times, last submission date was 5-10-2010 at CP office, I have got a mail for confirmation also that documents have been received and number will be activated soon. But still its not activated. I have send hunderds of mail to Airtrl - In reply i am just getting the reference number- Nothing else.
    Please look into this matter and activate my number as early as possibel

    Thumbs down Postpay refund

    Hello Sir

    My name is Jitendra Sharma and my mobile number is 9818515671. I've recently transfered my number from postpay to pre pay. At that time the Airtel shop executive ask me to pay 100 rs as deposit and she said that the remaining amount will be send to you by cheque or will be transfered to your prepay mobile number.

    It's almost more than 6 months since it was transfered. I've contacted same Aite;l shop ISB online Daryaganj thrice and aslo registered complaint on customer service. They're saying that they've send the cheque on 13 August 2010 however, I've not received it yet. Although it's a small amount of approx Rs 93 still I need the refund.


    I also need compensation for inconvenience that I've faced.
