With due respect I wish to bring to your notice the uncalled for harrasement being meted out to myself due to irrerelevent billing from Bharti Airtel...a company of high repute. I have had great faith on the company and being a senior and dutiful citizen I kept on paying the dues as asked for hoping against hope that the disrepiencies in the bills will be sorted out as promised by the customer care executives time and again.
After I complained I got the message thrice at the intervals of 3-4 days that I have been charged Rs.1980 more in two consecutive bills and the same will be adjusted in my next bill. On the other hand there were constant calls from the billing deptartment that there is an outstanting balance of Rs1100/-. Now everyday a new person calls and confirms that I will get the adjusted bill and other messages..then after some time another person calls and asks me to pay current bill with double rental charges plus arrears and when can a person come to collect.?
Nobody bothered to check that why a consumer is complaining time and again and why a good and regular paying customer turned into a complainant ? And is the problem so severe and really unsolvable ? I have been charged double the rentals ( printed and added twice) in every bill. Do I need a full time employee to keep following up with their offices for adjustments and that too for a fault of theirs ! . Why to add customers when the company cannot serve them ? I again reterate that I have only one connection under the rental scheme of Rs 999.
I have repeatedly written to the nodal officer and the appelete authority as well but except for an auto reply from the appelette authority there is no response at all. No one seems to be bothered. Even the calls to the nodal officers number are diverted to a voice mail box which is full. This is shocking! I have requested them to disconnect the connection if this cannot be rectified once and for all as I will not be entertaining wrong bills any more. I am being forced to take the matter to the hounourable consumer courts and have it setteled legally.
Hope to have your help on this matter and seeking early solution.
