    The Simple thing your phone line is not ok means as usual the line men do. they take allot of pieces of wire and joint it do the one thing call the area manager and ask him to fix a single wire from the pller to your home and i am 100 % sure your whole problem will be sorted out.

    bcs i did the same and my net is working fine.

    Default Complaint regarding MTNL Broadband connection

    Respected Sir,

    My name is Sahil Kannangar and my telephone number is 27726106 [Nerul]. This number is registered in the name of my father Mr.Vasant Kannangar.

    I took this broadband connection in the month of May 2009. I chose the unlimited 256 Rs.999 plan at that time. My internet worked fine only for the month of May and June.

    I paid my first bill of Rs.627 [from 21/04/2009 to 30/04/2009]. My next bill was of Rs.1841 [from 01/05/2009 to 31/05/2009]. I did not pay this bill because my internet was not working and I spoke to Mr.Ravi from MTNL Broadband Division (Nerul Exchange) but got no follow up reply on the same. All I got by calling the 1504 and 198 number is contact numbers of the Prabhadevi branch which were just a waste of time. My line got disconnected in the mid of June i guess. Then I received 2 more bills inspite of my line getting disconnected which were amount of Rs.1267 [from 01/06/2009 till
    30/06/2009] and Rs.1256 [from 01/07/2009 till 31/07/2009]. I didnot use my internet as it was not working and still I got those two bills. After long discussions with Mr.Ravi on phone, I went to the Nerul Exchange once again and met Sawant Madam and
    Patil Sir from Accounts department. I spoke to Mr.Patil and he said even if I dont use internet or even if I have any problem, I have to pay the bill. If I dont want to pay the bill, even that is fine with him. IS this the solution that your Account Department Officer suggests to your customers?? He was not ready to resolve the issue or even to listen to what I have to say about it.

    Finally, I met Mr.Ravi again and he suggested me to pay all the 3 bills [Rs.1841 + Rs.1267 + Rs. 1256] along with the late payment charges and give a hand-written copy of my issues to Mrs.Sawant from Accounts and they will refund me the charges when the line was disconnected [which is then entire amount of Rs.1256 and half amount of Rs.1267 as the fault was from their end and there was NO USAGE from my end] and he also told me that it will take atleast 15 days.

    My internet connection was restored in the month of August after paying all the bills. But again the internet connection went OFF in few hours. I called up Mr.Ravi again and I used to go to the Nerul Exchange for the entire month to meet Mr.Gade [who looks after the line faults] but he was unavailable all the time. I met a
    person who takes the name and number and the fault complaint in place of Mr.Gade and I gave him the necesary details. The lineman came and said the line is clear and the technical department of broadband says that even they don't have any issues. SO WHY
    IS MY INTERNET NOT WORKING AND WHOSE FAULT IS IT??? Also, when I called back to ask about the refund, Mrs.Sawant told me that there will be no refund and the handwritten copy that I gave is of no use to them. She said that the technical department has to give her a letter regarding the fault and then they go for refund.
    When I spoke to Mr.Ravi from the tech. dept., he said they don't give any such letters. Again, I was surprised by looking at this PASSING THE BUCK game. If my handwritten letter was of no use, why did she take that in the first place and why did Mr.Ravi suggested me to do so??

    Finally, I decided to call ED's office. I called the Ed's office in the month of September and I spoke to Mrs.Naik over there and explained her these issues. She spoke to Mr.Lal [Nerul Exchange] and she told me that will be taken care of. But nothing happened. Again I called her up in the month of October. This time, an
    engineer came to my place just few days before Diwali and he changed the modem and also the server address. He said the modem and server both were faulty and now I'll not face any issues. I downloaded a song and showed that engineer that inspite of having a 512kbps speed, my download speed was around 10-15kbps which is very low.

    So after all the unresolved issues and complaints and technical faults, I did not get any waiver of monthly charges, no refunds and no compensation for my loss of work. These unresolved issues show how bad your customer service can be and how the people working for your division drag the issues.

    If you improve your customer service and if you quickly resolve the customer issues, you'll get more customer...moreover..satisfied customers.

    Hope my issue will be resolved and I'll get the waivers/refunds/compensation for the trouble that your broadband division has caused to me.

    This mail is regarding the mental harrasment i am facing from MTNL broadband. i want to bring this in your vision that i have been harrased by the service of mtnl broadband.I am using the mtnl broadband for last 5 years now every now and then i get problem with my broadband but i ignored but now its getting worse .I am living in rohini sector -16,New Delhi. . My internet works hardly works everytime when i try to connect it disconnects in between , morover when i pickup the phone then it works and when i put my phone down it stops and link light starts blinking and when i called up MTNL helpdesk on 1504 they said its a filter problem i brought a new filter changed it still i am facing the same problem and they keep on saying its a filter problem and said theyw ill send someone to check it but nobody came here n didn't even got a phonecall from ur pathetic department , then i called our MTNL exchange which is badli exchange and the area manger he also didn't listen to me properly gave another number and asked to call other person and that person also did not respond properly n said rohini sector -16 is not his under , then i again called area manager and he didn't pick his phone. I always use to register complaint but i never got any proper service from MTNL. This time when my final year examz are going on i need to donload few helpful books and articles whcih can help me in getting good marks for that i went to cyber cafe bec of pathetic internet service wich i m getting not working properly.They have never provided any technical assitance to my net related problems.My net isnt wroking from 3rd of May march. I have regulary registered the complaint at 1504 but didnt got any assistance from MTNL. The problem is that my net gets disconnect very frequently and shows request timed out all the time. When i didnt got any response to my complaints then i tried calling once again on 1504 but nw they siad there is no complaint registered for my broadband wat the hell is this i talked to their supervisor 2 times but they made it soup call and said someone will come but noone came to my house i am paying for the services but not getting them so wats the point of paying so much money morover i made a complaint for my telephone line its very noisy but still no responce now pls tell me who the hell i talk abut all this so that my problmes can be resolved . and now they are not even picking up the call.I am completely frustrated and broke down by this service and i am not able to talk to any one else now. I am a graduation final year student and i really need internet for my studies.So it is my humble request to you that please take any action to make my net work on time.Its my careers show time and i am realy worried about it. I am writting this mail because no 1 responded against my complaints.i hope i will get reply from your side

    hi i am having mtnl broadband services traffic plan is 512 kbps (download speed) unlimited i am not getting the approprited speed for download its from last 2 month i am facing this problem i have talk to all the offier near my mtnl branch(wadala mumbai) but my problem is not yet solved they say its server problem form their end but the same plan my friend has he stay in my building & he gets the speed i am not getting it i have given many complaint on telephone & net but they only call from phone & say ur problem is solved. they dont evn send any of their engineer to see wats the problem is.
    so i need some advice from u please help me

    I am using triband connection for past 2 years as I have no other option available.
    My ph no is 011-25633324 and I live in uttam nagar.

    I had already tried all your suggestions on my own before registering to this forum, can you tell me other options avaliable so that I can make MTNL to provide good service to me. Now I am planing to file a RTI aplication seeking all my complaints that I register through 1504 or through their website or via e mail in last 2 years, and then I will use this against MTNL in consumer court.
    Whats your say, should I do this or keep complaining to Area Manager and GM of my zone.
    Please help me.

    Hello,

    I am Sudhir, having a TRI BAND MTNL connection. My no is 011-24625788, Address: Shris Krishna Adhyatm Kutir Mandir Prem Nagar, Lodhi Road, New Delhi-110003. Firstly, my connection has been barred for outgoing calls, so I could not use the Internet. The connection was disconnected after 30 days or more due to non-payment of bills (March 2010 & April 2010). But, my problem is that MTNL still sending the bills, even I have not been using the services since the last two months. So, please let me know, what I will have to do in this regard, as I do not want to pay for the services I have not used. Any help in this regard would be appreciated.

    Default Getting poor broadband service.

    S/M,

    I am amit having a MTNL connection "28563178". I have been facing network problem since a month ago. But I was tolerating it. I thought it's due to weather condition or may be some server problem, that will be rectify after some days. But service is getting poor day by day. At last i complaint about this that "my broadband is not working" But after two day no one attend call. I phoned them again But they still said they will send a technician. But still no one came. Fortunately/Unfortunately internet started working but with same condition..... net always disconnect after some time like 2-3 min around and message shows "Connection error: DNS not responding".

    MY complaint No is: 64100857
    My Connection NO: 28563178
    I online complaint about my telephone line that "voice in telephone not clear". it gave my an reference Number : 98173
    When I rechecked this after one day, Automated system of MTNL shows this is not valid reference Number.

    I don't know what's going on in this department.

    Kindly get my problem solved.

    I have requested for a wireless router as per MTNL's workorder issued on 07/07/2010. But it is still not installed. Can someone attend to it?

    Thumbs down Broadband complaint

    Date: 9.9.2010
    From the date of installation of Broadband about 4 months back, most of the time the speed is between 55-100. From 27.8.2010 till date the broadband is down. Numerous Complaints have been registered telephonically / online but to no avail, personally contacted Sh. Sharma, JTO/Dwarka but he has not shown any interest to solve the problem.

    I am thinking to disconnect both the tlephone and broadband connections of MTNL and install the same from Airtel or others.

    Unhappy Complaint MTNL

    This complaint is regarding MTNL'S Boradband connection No.27940103 (Consumer No.2044240366).
    I am totally unhappy with the pooer services of MTNL. For instance, recently the MTNL's Boradband connection is lying out of order for the last about a month. I made repeated complaints, some of which are mentioned as under :

    The above complaints have been regularly followed by us vigorously by our personal visits to the concerned officers in Sector-3, Ronini as well as over phone. But, no tangible result has come out till date. Hence, this complaint.

    In view of the above circumstances, we have no other option but to surrender the connection. It may kindly be noted that we are not liable to pay anaything whatsoever on a/c of the above-mentioned broadband connection from 30th Ausust, 2010 i.e. the date from which the connection became out of order.

    i had several time informed to dept by email that 28453912 tel no was under cable fault 23.06.2010 to 24.08.2010 than u must be rebate billing for the period but they are still sending bills and reverse the bill
    what to do with them
    as div enng told this be done automatacally.

    Dear Sir,

    My MTNL telephone no. is 011-25394795. I am having an internet connection for past about one & a half year, but its performance is poor. several times there is no connectivity i have complaint so many times, the problem gets rectified but re-occurs within next few hours, i am having at least 2 complaint no.s of very recent past, & i am in full most of posing a legal action against them.

    Default Broadband Connection

    I applied for MTNL Broadband on 27th September in Sarita Vihar Delhi. They install phone but not broadband connection.

    They don't have modem for installation. I want to know if MTNL don't have modem why he booked?

    They say daily I'll install tomorrow but tomorrow never end.

    Worse service of MTNL. Don't apply for new connection........................

    I Have applied last month in sept, 29/09/2010, for changing my plan from (Rs.999) TriB UL data-512 to (Rs.1899) TriB UL data-1Mbps Eco Combo *, FOR OCTOBER plan changed but speed not changed to till date, I have complaint about it to customer care, area manager shakti nagar & head office also but not response from there. Please take action as soon as possible!

    Default MTNL Broadband Slow Speed

    I am a student and i purchase 512 kbps unlimited plan from MTNL but my speed was near 40-45 kbps and i have lot of work to do on Internet. I complaint in near MTNL office But they say that You receiving Good Speed and you could not get 200 or 300 kbps in this plan. but in other countries companies provide the consumer the speed which given in the plan. So please hear me and sort out this problem fast.
