    1. No information was given about non-clearance of cheque
    2. Services were barred without informing any reason
    3. Even after payments were made and that is also with late fees still excessive billing done.
    As payments were made on time for the bills but it was never informed to us that cheque is not cleared and later on Outgoing services were barred on my phone. Being a Heart patient Basic telephone is must for me and due my ilness i do not usse Cell Phone at all.

    Default problem facing by

    hi,

    this is sumit and i m using a mtnl landline with broadband connection no is 27614354, stopped working half a month, when it got any problem they will take minimum a week to rectify, i m registered many times my problem on consumer care but no action, recently my net is not working from 5 days, i was complained on first day when i again call on third day, tey told its removed means the complaint has solved but they dont do the work, in these 5 days i went to time in local mtnl exchange for complaint but no action taken

    Default MTNL Broadband

    Dear Sir,



    I purchased an Internet combo connection (unlimited broadband) from BSNL
    around 6 months back. And have been facing loads of problems like line is
    dead or connection error. When asked about problem they (MTNL employees) say
    that there is problem in line and will be solved within 24 hours but it
    never happened in time additionally if asked for doing early then I have
    been asked for money (suvidha shulk or seva pani as they call it).
    Connection was not working for 15 days. I have been paying regularly one or
    two time I was one day late to pay the bill then line was disconnected
    immediately, and took 2-3 days time to active after paying the due amount
    that means there is no delay in disconnecting but solving problem always
    took loads of time.



    Now letís talk about recent case, line is dead since last 12 days. And I
    have been chasing them regularly but went all in vein. When tried to connect
    concerned persons (named mentioned below) they initially donít receive my
    call if received then they refer to each other. When asked about problem
    they say that there is some problem in DP in your area.

    department...........now i am very upset.........what to do..........so i
    decided that mail u.........I also complaint of area manager & general
    manager but problem is not solved.

    Thumbs down MTNL Poor Services

    Dear Sir/Madam,



    It has been more than 4 months that we have applied for disconnection of the
    telephone no: 26234629, but still MTNL has been generating and has send me bills for
    the month of February, March & April 2009, when I have not at all used the telephone
    service. The application for disconnection had already been apporoved.



    They expect the customer to pay for services when the customer has not used the
    service at all. MTNL not processed the disconnection of the telephone service.



    MTNL claims to provide quality customer care to itís customers and this is the
    pathetic quality of service that the customer is receiving.



    I was thinking of suggesting a friend of mine to go for an MTNL connection, but due
    the pathetic service that I have received I am not going to suggest anyone to go for
    an MTNL connection.

    Default Complaint Against MTNL poor services

    Dear Sir/Mam,



    I am Jeetender Reehal R/o RZ 330/C, Second Floor, Raj Nagar-II, Palam
    Colony, New Delhi - 110045. My telephone No is 25364388, I am a MTNL
    broadband internet service user since february 09, Today as on 25-06-09 my
    internet is dead and complaint had been logged to MTNL on 1504 on 01-06-09,
    14-06-09 and 18-06-09 which was starting working in between 02-06-09 to
    10-06-09 hardly for 5-6 days. Now I am approaching to the nearest exchange
    at dwarka sector 7, I am getting no response from there. I have been
    replied that there is no body to solve my problem and Mr. Shukla is your
    area technical engg. he is on leave and there is no one who can help you. I
    was also asked to come with my Laptop to exchange in case if I want the
    problem to be solved. I had to follow their instruction as I was in need of
    it, I did the same but no result came out. I have met with JTO Mr. S.C.
    Sharma at Dwarka Exchange sector7 near MCD School, still result came out. My
    work is getting hampered and they are not taking it seriously. I have
    approached so many time to them after that but most of the time I found them
    lost from their seat. As I am a private job doer I have to report on time
    to my office, Some time I have tried to meet in the morning to senior
    Divisional Engg. and other senior officer in the same exchange to escalate
    this matter, but they do not come before 10.30 or 10.45. At end of the
    month we get a computerised telephonic call to deposit a bill or they would
    terminate the services.



    At last I am praying in front of you to help me and get the matter solved.

    Default MTNL Poor Broadband Services

    You are not alone dear we also face the same problem, I do not know how the people still choose the poor MTNL Broadband, My phone number is 26691391, recently i have taken a 512 KBPS unlimited data combo internet plan. I never get this speed of 512 KBps, i tested on the MTNL site webmail.mtnl.net.in and also other reputed sites like speedtest.net . The speed is always shown to be around 450 Kbps. Additionally when i run the tracert command on my machine, i see that there are packet drops on the MTNL server and there is lot of delay on their server. I have sent emails, lodged complaint over helpline, went personally but there is no action.
    My internet experience is very bad and I feel cheated. I am paying for 512 Kbps speed but not getting only max speed of 450 Kbps. Also because of bad server infrastructure the internet experience is even worse.
    I want the internet speed for which I am paying for. Also want them to check their server to remove the bottlenecks.

    Hi, I was having a MTNL Broadband combo plan in dwarka and the no was 25081567, I don't have words to say about the MTNL service, poor, pathetic, ridicules, disgusting, and beyond imagination. I complaint about my broadband to the Area Manager, Nodal office, GM of MTNL, but the shameless people never come to my shop to rectify the problem, they are just to take salary and suck Govt blood. If any MTNL employee is reading my comment then just feel shame, just because of your kind of people our india is not growing.

    sir, i would like to attract the attention of higher authorities of mahanagar
    telephone nigam limited through your site , and i am writing , as i am sure that you
    shall surely highlight the issue and some action shall be taken , sir we the
    residents of pushkar enclave in paschim vihar area of west delhi have been facing
    the problem of very weak or no signal of MTNL'sDOLPHIN / TRUMP / AND GARUDA SERVICES
    ,IN OUR AREA EVER SINCE THE OPERATIONS OF MTNL STARTED IN MOBILE TELEPHONY WE HAVE
    HAD SUCH PROBLEMS, the problem is so severe that we cannot talk inside the rooms or
    house and incase even if we climb a three storied building roof top , in hope that
    signal strength may increase the problem is still the same , of NO SIGNAL, at times
    it reminds us of the first days when mobile services were launched in delhi. on one
    hand mtnl boasts of launching three g services etc, and on the other hand right in
    the heart of city it is providing services of primitive era
    , it is not that we have not complained , we have launched complaints right from
    their toll free number 1503 to CGM (mobile) at cgo complex,but in vain, hence we
    are writing to you with hopes that you shall make us find a solution to this
    problem, please do publish it , thousands of people shall be grateful to you,

    Dear Sir,
    I'm very fed up of the poor service of MTNL !!

    I have the Rs500 broadband plan which has a download limit of 2.5gb per month with
    256kbps to 2mbps.

    My problem is that the connection is never frequent the net came for 10min. and then
    go.... i also get very poor speed not even 256kbps and whenever i complaint to MTNL
    brodband related no. ( i.e. 1504 in delhi)
    they keep telling me that either its a technical problem or they kept saying that
    you should be happy to get net working for sometime in a day.and say that exchange
    has been overloaded.

    I feel like bashing up my head in keyboard whenver i am opening a attachment in the
    mail or downloading something. It always struct in the middle and broadband goes
    off. It is very irritating as whenever my dad is paying up the electricity bill or
    paying house tax the net goes off and one day e finished of paying the same house
    tax thrice which is very serious problem as after it he had to bear problem asking
    the authority to refund the money debited in his account.

    I'm very fed up of this service.
    I want a strict action to be taken against all the defaulter who are stealing
    widthband from users connection or else they dont have any right to ask for Rs500 in
    the bill.

    by 197 service of yours) at 6:29PM yesterday to find out the reason for slow
    bandwidth speed and was greeted by un-friendly voice of supervisor on duty (he
    refused to share his name). He was very Un-courteous, rude and definitely doesn't
    deserve to be handling customer calls. Although, it didn't came as surprise to me
    because we all know how MTNL employees behave but I felt need to send this feedback
    to MTNL management for the sake of people who still use MTNL connections.

    Anyways, I am not bothered the choice of people MTNL has in public dealing.

    Default MTNL Broadband (Poor and Pathetic Service)

    Hi,

    I am having a MTNL Broadband connection no 2794XXXX, I am facing too many problems like slow browsing, DNS not pinging, cannot use phone and broadband simultaneously. Also now our phone is also not working, due to bad pair of our line. I talked many time on their customer care but still the problem is same, also i visited MTNL Exchange personallt 3 times, but no conclusion in Sector - 3, Rohini and met area SDO Mr. Chugh (which gave false promises of services being restored in 24 hours), which I feel, these kind of puipl are burder to MTNL department instead of helping to customers. Also no proper tarined staff is there who can who can handle broadband complaints, because the person who came to our premises asked how to enable / disable LAN in Windows. Kindly suggest me what to do. I want to take them in Consumer Court. MTNL is really a pain for us and delhi.

    I am also facing same type of problem.My connection has problem with its set up.it come and go itself.I have mailed so many times to MTNL department but did not get satisfactory solution.I m planning to change my connection now...May be this problem is associated with network..
