Dear Sir/ Madam

I have subscribed a magazine called "Goodhousekeeping" which is from The
India Today Group. I subscribed it in the month of Sep 2008 for one year. I
paid them Rs 490 threw cheque no- 243243 of HDFC Bank of Sri Ganganagar
Branch Rajasthan. At the time of subcription there was a scheme that if i
subcribe the magazine for one year, i will get a gift, which they called
"GHK MAKE-UP KIT BY COLORESSENC". The letter which i received from the
company, which is signed by someone for Living Media India Ltd, cleary
states that i will receive the gift in 8-10 days. Today on 8th july 2009 i
haven't received the gift. I reminded the company more than 50 times. They
every time use to keep me on hold for 10 to 15 min and then use to give some
time. Then after some time they started saying that they delivered the gift
at my address, i told them show me the proof that u delivered it to me then
they said nothing. Now a month ago they started saying the gift we offered u
at the time of booking the subscription is out of stock so we can not
deliver it to you. they said they have some new gift u take that. The
magazine was subscribed in the name of my spouse. she is not at all ready to
take the gift which they are offering. I told them that this is not right, i
informed u many time then how it went out of stock, i told them that i will
go to consumer court. They started blackmailing us that they are big media
house and i cannot do anything against them.

Sir/madam i request u that please take this matter seriously and please
guide me what should i do.
