Hi All,
I had subscribed to a magazine for 5 years. ( Business Today ) and 1 Year
Subscription for 1 year.
After subscribing i observed that i receive the copy almost a week late ( or
4 days ) delay compared to when its available in Retail shops for sale.
On enquiry i understand that "Subscriber's Copy" of the magazine gets
printed last. And is given least preference as they want to reduce the time
taken to attract "non-subscribers" and make more money ( because poor
subscribers are anyway locked-in for that period.)
I believe its not right for the publisher to do this, as his primary
obligation is to the "subscriber" who has paid in advance. Please let me know
if this can be taken up in legal terms / can a notice be sent to such
publishers ?
Any inputs would be helpfull.
regards,
vineeth.
