To get any solution for your complaint kindly send a complaint letter to the Head Office of the Co. Send it through registered post and keep a copy of that letter also. Hope you will get any positive response from there.

I placed an order with India Today Books Club on February 21, 2009 and it was delivered to a wrong address. I got a message from the Books club requesting me to call the customer support to correct my address. I called the customer support around 2nd week of March and updated my residential address. Till June 2009, I was waiting for the product and meanwhile I have made several calls to get the product. Every time I was asked to wait for 10 to 15 days.
At one point in time, I got frustated and raised a request to cancell my order and give my money back. I send a refund request mail in the month of June but the order was processed in the month of July only. They sent me the refund order request ID (RE09001109). Since then I am following up with the company to get my money back but till date I am not successful. Every time, I was told to wait for 10 to 15 days and they say that they have processed my request and some internal process is delaying the payment. When asked about more information in the internal process and the number of days it would take to complete, no information was given.
Since it has taken more time and no proper response from the company, I am bringing this issue to your notice. I request you to help me out to get my money back. Please let me know if you need more information to resolve my issue.

In first week of October 2009, I received a letter from India Today Book Club that you will purchase a book and send Rs. 2199/- and you will get the following :
1. Book ‘Complete History of the world’ MRP 4499
2. Round Trip air ticket worth Rs. 7000/-
3. Reebok classic Watch worth Rs. 2599/-
COPY OF LETTER IS ATTACHED HEREWITH (as annexure A)
I have send a cheque of Rs. 2199/- of Corporation bank vide no. 0142543. The same was debited to my account on 23rd October 2009. (STATEMENT OF BANK ACCOUNT ATTACHED, as annexure B).
Till now I have not received any Letter, Book or Gift. I call to customer care more than 10 times and they always says that we don’t have any record in our system. Then I send the mail to India Today Club along with statement and letter, they did not give me any satisfactory reply. Their replies are as follows :

your order was dispathced through speed post vide consignemnt number ED697068234IN on 22-10-2009. the same has not been returned back to us, i am getting this checked with speed post and shall confirm you with the findings at the earliest...!!!!!!!

Now till today I am not receiving any mail or phone or anything. I tried again to contact to Customer care but no use. Please Help me out . They will give me back all the things as soon as possible or Rs. 14,297/-

I am not getting any solution from you. As suggested by you I send a registered letter and didnt get any response from the company. I informed this to you few months back and I am not hearing from you also. The reason why we post the complaint is to get solutions not to wait for a longer period of time. Please suggest me how to proceed.
