I have a Bajaj pulsar moker bike, which is under warranty now and company terms are to get the bike accurate and in warranty position keep its proper check up and service after 75 days or 2500 km which ever is earlier and i have serviced my bike in october from authorised dealer and 75 days or 2500 km are not yet passed and on 23rd jan my bike's engine get seased with out any prefault or accident. When i contact the authorised dealer to repair the engine within waraanty terms on company's cost then they reject to do the same with out giving any proper reasons. Now i want to file a appeal in consumer court agst. the authorised dealer, Please advice me on this topic and also suggest that can i repair my bike from a outside service station as my complaint in regard is not yet filed.

    Hello,

If the dealer is not giving you the proper response then contact to the paretent company customer care. You can get the no. form the dealer or it is mentioned on the service book.
Do this first and if the company also not responding you or solve your problem then contact us again, we will guide you accordingly.

    Thanks

    Angry Bajaj complaint

I have purchased pulsar in july 2007 and also a 2 year extended warranty,so,there is a total of 4 year warranty.
Now the rear shocker are not working properly as it is not absorbing shocks,so my rear tyre gets damage very soon because of that friction.the bike covered only 31000 km and I have changed the rear tyre three times which is too much.
In extended warranty booklet, the rear shocker replacement is given but the service center refuses.

Please tell me what to do?

hi my name is jithin and i have a pulsar classic model 180 cc.it has larger tyres than the normal ones and it does have a k and n filter.i ve been riding with this change for almost 3 years.recently like 4 months back its decompression spring in the cam shaft got broken but it was still running fine with one excemption like it was lacking slow speed.other wise it was perfect.so a month ago i gave to deedi bajaj paruthipara trivandrum and i told them the matter and gave them amble amount of time.when i got the bike back they told they changed the decompression and didnt change the cam shaft.after that i ve never run the bike smoothly and self start was not getting started..pick up is not there and from the engine side there is a sound like hitting with a hammer.my machanic who was outside told me that some studied in my bike with the timing chain.i gave the bike to kaimanam deedi and they put the estimate as 5000rs.this is my second complaint and the first one was put forward by my brother some years back and after that they did fine.bike number is KL 01 Y 448 red classic 180 pulsar.i hope some thing would be done at the earliest.

    thanking you,
    Jithin

    To whomsoever it may concern

I have been a Bajaj customer for the past 9 months so far, and have garnered negative publicity of this company if not more.
From the day I bought the bike, Pulsar 180cc, on January 1st, 2010, from my hard earned money through tuitions, I suffered major setbacks in the product quality and customer satisfaction promises claimed by your company, Bajaj Automobiles.

I bought this bike just to make sure that I don't waste time travelling by bus to my college which is about 25 kms from my home. The time it saved clearly superseded the time it consumed in its maintenance.

Exactly on the THIRD day of the purchase, January 3rd, 2010, the highly proclaimed bike of the year, Pulsar 180 cc from a company which owns the title of being the most customer friendly company, ogled out scores of problems.
When I went to the Service station, from where I had bought this menace, Bagga Link, Karol Bagh, I had a horrible experience over there. Upon addressing my problem to the reception, I was directed to the person who takes care of the delivery of bikes. When I approached that person with my problem, instead of listening to me, he said, "There are customers I need to tend to, please come tomorrow. I can't see you now."

Nobody's a kid here, thus we all can understand from the statement above that the guy is purely interested in "selling off" the bikes, and insists on quantity, not quality. What would a person expect after receiving such a reply from a company that boasts of market leadership. Is that all bogus? All the claims of almost perfect bikes and high customer satisfaction, are all hypothetical? The above scenario begs to prove testimony to the fact that all what Bagga Link wants is to just "sell-off" the bikes. Any problems which arises even after a couple of days of delivery is not their concern. This was quite depressing for me, as I had huge expectations from the company, which were tumbling down one by one.

I would never ever expect such a reply from an employee of such a reputed company in the world of two wheelers. If such trusted companies have such unfaithful employees, I wonder how does such companies survive in the race in the industry where there is cut throat competition.

After experiencing such a situation, I called up Bajaj's All-India customer care number. After explaining my situation to them, I was my complaint was registered and I was contact by Bagga Link, Karol Bagh, with a sense of regretfulness.
Though the bike was repaired at that time, but everything that I had built up about Bajaj's products was almost trashed to pieces by their poor customer relationship, and under graded materials used for building up the motorcycle.

After this fiasco, there was another one waiting to occur at the corner.
It was time for my 2nd service which I again brought up at Bagga Link, Karol Bagh. After getting the service done, I took the bike home, after paying up for the engine oil.
When I came back home, I was shocked to notice that the oil is never changed in the 2nd service.

What should one conclude from this mishappening? Is it all a treacherous way to extract maximum money from the customer? Even though my bike didn't need new engine oil, and that my bike could very well pull off with that same engine oil till the next service, the Service Incharge, Mr. Rawat, added the cost of oil, without even thinking about it for a couple of seconds.
If such an experienced employee can goof up such big time, what would I be left to expect from a company which had ruled the Indian roads with its earlier Pulsar models?
Should I conclude that the products Bajaj is making now, is not upto the mark, and that all it is concerned about is making maximum profit at the cost of customer's mental situation?

If that was not all the mental harassment I could get, all from the same bullshit company, of which there is not a single dime of respect is left in me, there was more to come.

Right when I thought there was something more to the bike than what I had expected earlier, the bike started to show its true colors. Suddenly in the middle of the road, on September 27th, 2010, it stopped, and didn't start even with the self start. Due to the circumstances, I had to call on a local workman, who checked the bike and told me that a part in the engine was broken and needs repairing which should be done from an authorised Bajaj Service station.

A bike, that didn't even complete its 10000KM, stopping in the middle of the road without any indications beforehand, and then having a part in the engine broken, of this sorts, would most probably be sold to a scrap dealer.
It should be made mandatory for the the bikes to carry a mini billboard with the words, "This bike can stop anywhere because its manufacturer is Bajaj", be written on it in BOLD.

After experiencing something like that, anybody could have approached the law governing bodies and addressed their problem to them. But I maintained my calm.

The next day, September 28th, 2010 I had to ferry the bike on a rickshaw, costing me Rs. 300, to the Bajaj Service Station, Karol Bagh.

They accepted the bike for repairs, and asked me to come back the next day.
I called up Mr. Rohtash only to have my call being disconnected several times. After half an hour, I called again, which he miraculously picked up, and was told that the bike hasn't yet been touched.

A service incharge with the stature of Mr. Rohtash, not picking up the phone only to get away from the customers' complaints, would be of what practical use in a company which is synonymous with customer satisfaction.
Not even in my dreams could I expect Bajaj to have authorized Bagga Link as their service center. With such low customer satisfaction, and low graded products, I would assume the standards of Bajaj to be dubious.

After waiting for 4 agonizing days for my bike, I became impatient, for not having being received any kind of call informing me about the repairs of my bike, whether the repairs has been done or not!!
4 days, and no call, would make any sane person go wild.
Not withstanding the agony, I called up Mr. Rohtash again, who told me that the problem had been resolved but a new problem has been identified as the evolution of fumes from the engine of the bike. This problem was never experienced before the day I gave my bike to the service center.

The cost for repairs was estimated at Rs. 900.

What kind of quality is maintained at the workshop that made the bike develop another problem which it had never ever encountered?
I am aghast by the scenario I had to face. And I wish nobody is so unfortunate as me to endure such incidents.

Now when I was having a conversation with Mr. Rohtash on October 2nd, 2010, he told me that he didn't have any idea as to when will that spare part be available, nor did anyone at the workshop knew about the arrival of the spare part needed for my bike.

What kind of service station are these people running? A bunch of monkeys would have done a better job than they are doing. Being the head of Servicing department and mouthing words as "We don't know when the spare parts would arrive", is close to being shamelessly pathetic.

After much vigorous exchange of words, I was assured that the spare part would arrive within 5 days.
On the same day I lodged a complaint at the Bajaj's All India Customer Complaint center, with my complaint number being 53829.

After that, I waited for 5 days, and nothing happened. Till 7th October, I didn't even receive a call informing me whether the spare part has been delivered or not. O wanted to be in the loop. I never demanded to tell me the exact date of the arrival of the spare part, I just wanted to know the progress of my complaint, whatsoever it was. But even at this point, they failed to qualify at that testimony too. I even called up Bajaj's All India Customer Complaint center again to re-forward my complaint, but all in vain!

Time and again, Bagga Link, Karol Bagh, the largest authorized service station of Delhi, have failed to recognize their worth as a viable service center by failing on customer satisfaction, customer relation and service of bikes, in all manner.

This makes me question, once again, any plausible reason behind still keeping Bagga Link, Karol Bagh, once know to be a customer's heaven, as an authorized service center.

Is that all for monetary gain for Bajaj Automobiles too, or is it just Bagga Link, Karol Bagh too greedy for money that it has lost all its etiquettes and humanitarian aspects?

Even after all this, I was trying to call up Mr. Rohtash, service head of Bagga Link, Karol Bagh from 9:00 A.M. till 11:00 A.M., today, October 12th, 2010, continuously. Sometimes he disconnected my call, and then switched off his cellphone. Sometimes, he didn't pick the call, and let the call ring on.

Getting no ray of hope, I called up Bajaj's Customer Complaint center, again. In here, I again got my complaint re-forwarded and got this email id to address to my problem when asked about the contact of someone who would give me a patient hearing.

Failed to get him online, I tried calling the G.M. of Bagga Link, Karol Bagh. He addressed to my problem in a rather unfriendly gesture. In no way I could get a hint that this company, Bagga Link, Karol Bagh, was know as a hub of happy customers.

After hearing out my part of the story, he escaped out of the situation by saying that he would call me up within an hour.

Till yet, any conversation from both the G.M., as well as Mr. Rohtash is yet to be received.

What should I assume from the above given scenario?
Won't such a behavior by the high posted people of Bagga LInk, Karol Bagh, one of the finest service stations of India, piss off the customers like I have been..

Expecting such a behavior from a person at such a respectable post is something out of my logic. Some logic, only a fraud company such as Bagga Link, Karol Bagh can devise to fool the customers in every possible manner.

I would like to humbly request you to please take some stern and rapid action to straighten out the low grade mentality of Bagga Link, Karol Bagh employees. otherwise I would succumb to my agony and would prefer seeking a lawful jurisdiction, which I really don't want to, but would not step behind if my endurance towards the stupidity of Bagga Link, Karol Bagh employees is tested on all scales.

    Default Worst bike!!!!

    Hi,

I bought the pulsar bike two years ago... the day one there is a lot of noise cming in the bike.. when i took to service they said its a common problem in pulsar. Now the sound has increased a lot and the engie will get heated up very fast.... i had unicorn before this.. i used it almost 6 years without any problem.. and there is a show room in bangalore (kalyani bajaj) that's the worst showroom i can say as they charge very much for the repair and apart frm that they wont service the bike properly....the parts are too expensive...everytime need to spend more than 2K for the bike...worst bike ever on the indian road...i sugesst people not to buy this bike. go for Honda bikes they are more superior than these bajaj bikes...
