I have purchased Honda Activa in Apr2007, now on Aug2009 found one day while traveling suddenly the rear wheel of the vehicle was removed and we fell down, we are two and both were unconscious for half an hour, thanks to the 108 for the immediate help. When investigated found that the engine of the vehicle was blast and turned into pieces and the condition of the rear wheel was removed because of the blast took place in the engine and the wheel was out along with the internal gear part and the v-belt.
this is not because of any accident between two vehicles or dash to any object. this was happened on empty plain road, so what it is surprised... and serious..
The engine and the condition of the vehicle is to bad to repair/recover.
Request you all to check the vehicle before booking it or use.
May the honda activa have the problem or what exactly is under investigation.
The photograph and other proofs will be submitted to the company and wait for the reply.

I have booked new Activa dated 14/08/2009, on name of my wife, namely Patel Kanchanben Govindbhai from Surat(Gujarat) through the Authorised Dealer of Honda Activa M/s.Chakradhar Auto, Anand Mahal Road, Adajan, Surat. On booking time i had paid Rs.1000/- to the dealer. Against the booking amount they have given cash receipt for the same. My booking details are as under.

In this regard, I had inquired at dealer showroom numbers of time for the delivery of Activa and they have replied that it will take further more time due to company strick supply is very poor from company side. In this connection I want to make your kind attention that I have some doubt, I think there is some internal setting has done during the arrival of the stock receive from company, and dealer gave wrong reason to the coustomer regarding short supply, so we real costomer suffering the problem for the same. I think dealer are taking unofficial on, on every activa vehical and they are geting unlegar benifits for the same. if I correct than, this type of administation of the dealer is loosing the image of company and coustomer can not get the delivery of booked Activa in right time.

I would really appreciate if you can sincerely take up my complaint at the earliest; I have booked a Honda Activa Deluxe on 22nd sep 2009. And I was informed that the delivery will surely happen on or before 60 days, by a gentle man call saravanan. I have been going to the showroom to check if the vehicle has come but saravanan tell us there is a still delay in getting the load, but we regularly see the Load with full of bikes. Now it has been 77 days since we booked. When we contact saravanan for the update he asked me to wait for a week and I did now again I went there he shouts at me and tell sms to take back the money advance Rs1000/- I believe and dough that he gives priority to the people who pays him some money. Because I found out from his language, I don’t want to give him bribe to get a vehicle I need to get it legally. Please see that I get a proper reply.

I am Yatin Desai from Mumbai, I had also booked Activa Deluxe model from "Om Sai Honda Showroom" located at Malad Link Road in mumbai on 28th Sep. 2009. At the time of booking their executive told me that it will take 60 days minimum and 90 days maximum for delivery. Till today there is no reply from their side and when i do follow up with them, only one answer i get is we will check & let you know. But none of the person from this showroom show any courtesy to call back.

They cheat people by taking bookings on customers name & when they get shipment from company they sell it with extra premium to their dealers and new customers who are ready to pay extra money for instant delivery.

I think why people tolerate think sort of behavior is the kind of quality HONDA has.
If Indian companies can provide same I surely can say no one need to tolerate this kind of corruption.

I suggest BAJAJ, Mahinda & TVS to come up in this situation with very strongly by
developing best quality bikes/scooters with best support and services even.

I have newly purchase honda activa from jodhpur dhram honda opp kn collage on 4 oct 2011 and on the same day there was the problem occured in battery of it . The self of the viechle is not working from the purchase till yet . I am handicapped and i have purchase it for my job whenever i go to showroom they charge the battery and gave it to me by saying that now there will be no problem in it and again the same problem occured . So it is my request to you sir that please make solve this problem as soon as possible . Hoping for better reply .
