TVS company sucks.. I purchased TVS apache RTR bike on November 2007 from Sri Hari TVS Bangalore. And since then it has a horrible experience with the bike and as well as with the company.
The gear box got jammed in the first week and then there was series of other problems.
The rear brake not functioning properly, starting problem, hard gear shifting, instability,
etc etc…
I have complained to the company many times and they asked me to take to some service station. It has been more than 10 times I got my vehicle repaired .Every time after the service or repair the vehicle performs properly for 1 week and then usual problems, some times some new problems as well.
Last month also I had kept the vehicle in the service station for 2 days as the manager told me he will make everything proper.
Within 2 weeks after that vehicle started making some sound while braking and now when I apply the rear brake, the bike slips. Also the power has gone done considerably and the gear changing is extremely difficult sometimes.
I again don’t want follow the same procedure of taking the vehicle to service station and leaving it there for 2-3 days. Is there something else I can do?
I thought of reporting to icrpc but don’t know that will be of any use because the bike is almost 2 years old now.
I desperately need some help please.

TVS service complaint You are not alone dear we also face the same problem with my bike, I do not know how the people still buy this poor quality bike, the vehicle has run for approx 6800 Kms in 18 months and the vehicle has a warranty of 2 years the vehicle has been serviced regularly from the same service center however when the vehicle(scooty pep +) was given for service the service centger personnel told that there is an issue with the engine and stated that the gasket needs to be changed for which he asked for an acceptance we accepted for the same however the final blii is around Rs.2500 - the personnel stated that there might be a defect in the engine and he had to open it for opening the engine he has charged service charge of more than Rs 1500
To pay more service charge for manufaturing defect
need to ensure that nobody else suffers like me in the future and to recover the extra amount collected by me for the manufacturing defect of the vehicle

poor service of tvs same problem with me also ..i purchased a apache rtr fi in july 2008, since 1 mnth of purchse of the bike i m getting problem with its fuel indicator ,it is not showing correct readings. i complaint about it in the service center also(6-7 times!) but they guys are always up with the same solution "we have rectified ur problem sir " but they problem is there only. also the model doesnt has fuel reserve so i had to check the fuel tank manually. now that the warranty of my bike is about to over (if it hs 1 year warrnty) it doesnt seem a solution to go to service center again ,wait for 4-5 hrs and then take away the bike as it is..suggest me a solution pls...
