    Angry Fraud people at service centre.



    I had serviced my Bajaj Pulsar 180cc DTS-I at Mittal Automobiles, 48/2, Chandanagar, Nagar Road, Pune - 411014 (Phone number : 020-69148136) on 13/12/2009 at 40700 kms on speedometer. When I went to pick up my bike in the evening there was a noise coming from the engine. I informed the same to the service men, he said that Block Piston needs to be replaced. I agreed for the same but he didn't had the Block Piston in Black color so I got one from Sai Service Station, Veer Savarkar Bhavan, Shivaji Nagar, Pune - 411005 for Rs. 1665. Then I submitted my bike and Block Piston at Mittal Automobiles on 15/12/2009 for installation because its close to my place. I got my bike back on same evening, after being charged Rs. 800 for installation. There was no noise now, I was happy. The service men informed me that for next 1000 Kms I can't exceed the speed of 60 Km/Hr. I obyed the same and not even crossed 50 Km/hr speed. Its 42300 Kms on speedometer. So yesterday when I was going at my friend's place riding at 75 km/hr, suddenly the bike made a noise and engine turned off automatically. I tried restarting it using self start and then kick but no joy. The kick was stuck so hard that even if I stand on it, doesn't go down. I didn't go to any local garage and came back in loading rickshaw along with the bike for which I was been charged Rs. 1100. I came back late in the evening, so today morning I went to Mittal Automobiles and explained him what happened. They opened the carburetor, block piston and then the engine and informed me that lot of parts needs to be replaced. Which includes Block piston, clutch plates, piston and many more things which I am not sure of. The reason for this break down was informed, NO ENGINE OIL in the engine. I disputed for the same and informed that oil was changed in last service on 13/12/2009. The bike was just driven abt 1600 Kms after the service and as per the advertisement of yours the engine oil needs to be replaced at every 4000 Kms. On this the service men replied that I refused to change the oil at the time of service on 13/12/2009 and kept on blaming me for this cause. I asked him to check the records of last month but he said they have scarped the bill book and asked to search my bill at home. Some how I convinced to his point and agreed for the repair becuase I was not sure whether oil was changed or not. They gave me estimate of Rs. 5300 and I'll be getting the bike back tommorow. When I came back to home I searched for the bill of last service. Luckily I have found all the bills, and as per the bill dated 13/12/2009, reciept number : 4361 they have changed the oil and charged me Rs. 190 for it. So how come the oil is finished within 1600 Kms or the oil was changed or not ? I am not going to pay a single rupee for this repair because its not my fault. My bike is like son for me and I take care of it a lot. Please reply what would happen next. I am not going to take my bike back from there until this issue is resolved and can go upto any stage to get this sorted out. Reply Awaiting.... My number : +91-9923436109

    Hello,

    Kindly provide us your full contact details and the services center details, apart from this register a complaint with the bajaj customer care reporting the same and send a written notice via registered post to the CMD of Bajaj and the Service center manage, attach the photocopy of the last job sheet and the photocopy of latest bill and claim the damages.

    I already had called Bajaj customer care on the same and they said they have escalated the issue and I will recieve a callback in 24-48 hours, which I havn't recieved yet. My complaint number from Bajaj is 19203. I will be sending a letter tommorow to the CMD of Bajaj. Just one question, how long this procedure will take? I know its too early to ask such question but my bike is only the mean of transport for me. I am feeling hadicapped without my bike. I hope you understand. Thanks!!

    Hi,

    I have not recieved any call from Bajaj yet. Whenever I call them the only thing I hear is, Complaint has been forwarded and I will recieve a call from senior authority. Its been 17 days now I havn't heard anything from Bajaj. Today I spoke to Ajit and Sumeet from Bajaj Customer service regarding my complaint number 19203, both were very rude and kept on repeating the same thing, I will be called by senior authority. Its getting on my nerves now. Plz let me know whether I should file a case now ? Thanks.

    Hello,

    As we mentioned above that before going to the Consumer Forum you have to send a written notice via registered post (keep one copy with you) to the CMD of Bajaj.

    Hi,

    I had sent a wriitten notice to CMD of Bajaj on 04/02/2010 but I havn't heard anything from yet. Whenever I call Customer service they are just telling me that I will recieve a call from senior authority. I had sent an e-mail as well and there also they are not replying. Shall I file a case now, what I have to do for the same ?
