Sub: Complaint of new Tata Indigo Manza Car CH-01(T)-7366 Engine No. 323B66007064819 & Chassis

Sir,
I took the delivery of above noted car 4 days back and wish to bring the following to your kind notice:
1 I booked Manza Aura SAFABS DW car on 4-9-10 paying Rs 20,000=00 to your sales officer Ms Sarita Sharma;
who realistically snatched this deal from other sales person to whom we reported in your show room. I was given the understanding the vehicle will be delivered within 15 days.
2 We sold our old Corsa vehicle through your office agents to get the benefit of the royalty bonus of Rs 15,000=00
3 I loosed my father and while busy in rituals on 29-9-10 Ms Sarita talking inconveniently created hype to pay the total amount immediately without delivery of the car – stating that the car price is going up by 15000=00. Telling her about my father’s demise, I was not comfortable about her way & language, any way I paid another amount of Rs 50,000=00 on dated 30-9-10 and the remaining sum of total payment i.e. Rs 4,79,447=00 on 4-10-10. Total price of the vehicle told was Rs 5,64,447=00. She told that car seat will be placed free of cost and assured to believe her once asked to please pen down this facility on the booking paper.
4 I was further told the delay in delivery and asked to take it on 8th Oct 2010. Since all the payment was cleared, after a phone call on 8th Oct 2010 my daughter went to her at 11 AM as asked and got the insurance paid. In addition ungenuinely she made us to pay Rs 2000=00 for the car seats which she earlier told will be free of cost. She added the car is getting ready, Teflon coating will be done – car seats will be placed and we can report her for delivery at 3 PM 8-10-10. My daughter who reported Ms Sarita in morning gets a phone call that the car is almost ready & car seats are being placed – thus we can take the vehicle by 4 PM. However this was followed by a phone call by another person senior to Ms Sarita revealing that system is down – billing is being delayed and we can take car delivery by 7PM. Frequent unjustified lame excuses made us (me – my daughter & son in law) to visit your show room; to our utter surprises that the vehicle is being driven in the show room in raw condition- what to talk of Taflon coating, washing, car seats, various checks etc before the delivery. This was all at the cost of rushing up my patients for the sake of taking car delivery. We all brought this thing in knowledge of manager sales – Mr Kamboj’ who rather than polite hearing defended Sarita & was highly uncourteous; video recording available with us.
5 Ultimately delivery was made on 10-10-2010 by Ms Sarita, with same behavior and not providing us feed back form wishfully. Taking it from your other official we have sent it to you & at Tata’s Mumbai Office rating one out of 10 in all fields of the sale of the vehicle.
6 Out of all this biases with me your sale team wishfully managed to deliver me a defected piece of Manza Car which broke in the middle of traffic in Madhya Marg and car steering was not getting turned even with full force. Accident which could have involved me & my daughter or the other members of public, which could be averted with my best efforts and car was brought to your showroom placed near to Madhya Marg, Chandigarh.
7 We were told that power steering is jammed, needs replacement which will take at least 8 to 10 days since this part will be brought in from Mumbai.
I wish to submit that I was embarrassed, cheated and manipulated wrongfully by thier sales team- Ms Sarita, the next person to her & Mr Kamboj. Jajo Grahak Jago slogan remains unfullfilled and in India this continues to be a seller markit. I am a busy Doctor- Neurologist and for every now and then can not afford to have time to go courts
