One week back I tried withdrawing Rs1000 from one of the SBI atm, but the money which came out was only Rs 950 (500*1,100*4,50*1) This looks impossible as there is no chance of an Rs 50 coming out of any ATm. But this really happened. It was in the evening so no bank was open I called and reported this to the customer care. Then i went and reported this at my branch they refused to listen also were not accepting to take my complaint letter even the branch manager was not agreeing to listen to me.
This is not a matter of Rs 50 but atleast they should research on this from their end. This happened in Bangalore State Bank of India (banaswadi branch ATM). Inspite of being an account in the same branch this was the response from the autorities. However at last they accepted my letter i submitted it with the transaction slip, but still there is no response from them.
