I am holding an EL 2011651030629 and have sent an email to Canara Bank on 16th April and since then have been calling them and sending them emails on regular basis for the closure of my loan liability.
So finally after chasing them for 2 months, I finally decided to go and see them personally on 6th June (taking leave from my office because it takes 4 hrs of traveling to-fro between Gurgaon and Kamala Nagar branch). There they showed me my out-sanding amount for Rs. 446497 (which also include April and May interest of RS. 5302/- & RS. 5455/- AND PENALTY OF RS. 73/-). They also debited my canara bank account with Rs. 10,000.
I refused to pay the interest for 2 months which they have charged. So finally I paid them Rs. 425700.
Mr. Ikmat (manager at Kamala Nagar branch) sent an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com stating all the information that I just mentioned above and asking for the solution dated 6th June 2015 and have not yet received any reply from them since.
Infact, I have also written an email to firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com and asking for the solution but failed to receive and reply.
Would request you to please consider this as a complaint against Canara Bank, Kamla Nagar branch.
