Hi,

I have been using HDFC Master Credit card for more than a year and as i went out of country with no access to my Communication and Permanent address. I was not able to do the payment on a regular basis and not able to answer any phone calls from Bank Representatives.


As i am back again now, I have received a Legal Notice from Chennai Branch regarding the payment to my Permanent Address. I called up the number on the notice and they have asked me to pay the total amount. I am ready to pay the total amount of Rs.68510 which includes all the interest rates. They have promised to give the NOC on the next day once its been updated in Bank records.
I want to know how long will it take to remove my name from CIBIL after i receive the NOC from Bank. Should i write to someone or is it an automated process?


Is there any way that i can re-activate that card and start using it again as i have paid the full amount.


Will i be eligible to apply a new card immediately?
