This is GAURAV GUPTA from Mumbai. I was using credit card of HDFC Bank from the age of 17th as it was alloted to me without any documents on the basis of my job and my residential address verification. In the 2010 when i m unemployed i have just used Rs. 8000 and that 8000 become Rs. 17000 After 6month. Then on many request i asked bank for settlement,and i got that amount settled by bank (khanjurmarg) branch in Rs. 13000 in 8 installment i.e, 1625/-.
Due to Some financial problem i skip 2 EMI's and on skipping that they send me a notice that my Settlement has been cancelled and i stated that i have to pay Rs. 33,000.
On 22-10-2011 one collection executive named Sanjay came to my placed and started shouting in abuse language that i have to pay this amount and after i make him understand the matter and after that the particular person make a phone call to his senior named Miss Rekha Padwaal, She told me sir this is your last emi please pay after that u will get ur statement 0 and further u have not to pay any amount. I agreed on her and i pay that amount.
After 30days there was a call came from other executive he told me that mine due is pending i.e, 33,875 and i have to pay it any how. They call me each and every day and use abuse language and sometime send a there executive to my place and they threaten my parents due to which my father removed me from my home.
I just need to know that what Can I do to get this Cleared Out and how can I approach consumer Court for the same issue. Please advice
