    Exclamation Harassment and unfair practices of collection HSBC Bank gold credit card

    Hello Sir,

    My name is Inderpal Yadav . I have one HSBC Bank gold credit card #4384599976252956 few month ago i used INR 30000 due to some personal urgency.
    after that call HSBC bank care for installation payment. but they denied for that..i was not having whole amount in one installment..after 3-4 months i again call bank customer care for settlement. In next few day i got a call from Mr. Harsh (9953882092) and couple days talked with him for settlement I said just send you executive I will give cash.
    But he never send anybody for collection. after that i visited HSBC bank to deposit cash which was suggested by Mr. Harsh then i called him but unfortunately he said please do not deposited cash today and i do not have approval for the same. further i will call you let you when you have to deposited cash. after few day i tried his phone no several
    and also sanded sms 4-5 times but he never responded.
    On Tuesday 18 August got call from 9968552757 and she identified herself as Rajani Rathod Delhi police sub inspector. She told me that there is arrest warrant for me. I socked.. she did not given address of police station no. she given me one contact no (forgot his phone no.) Lawyer Mr. Ranjan Mathu who filed a case against me. i called that no. his assistant Rayna picked the phone.. she harassed me or the phone for payment of credit card balance.
    Sir,

    I never denied to pay my amount but they harassed me a lot and there are very unfair practices of collection.

    Now i m very frustrated. as i told my company HR all these thing happened with me. Now company given me a warrant if some came at my office they terminate me.
    Please help me.

    Hello,

    I also got calls from HSBC people with similar names. They called me one day saying she is Inspector Rathod from Delhi and said she has an arrest warrant against me.
    and she geve Ms Raina's name as the lawyer of hSBC!
    Looks like these are scamsters of hSBC recovery department. Can we lodge a compliant against these unethical practices?

    Consumer court should help us track these guys.

    Hello sir/madam,

    My name is Sudhir Gattawar and I want to launched complaint with HSBC. I was using
    HSBC credit card from 2000 and in the year 2002-2003 other banks were started giving
    free credit card(no annual charges). So i called HSBC to discontinue my card as I
    was paying annual fees for my card. But bank said, they will wave off the annual fee
    charges and they did it for the yr 2003, 2004(on request). I was never defaulter and
    paid my dues on time. But in 2005, I have asked them to discontinue the card as I
    don’t like to call every year and beg for wave off the annual fee charges and I cut
    th card in 4 peace and thrown it out(as told by customer care executive). For next
    3 months in 2006 there was no bill came to me, so I was happy thinking that case is
    closed. But all of sudden I had started getting outstanding bills. I used to call
    every time I receive the bill to HSBC customer care service center to explain my
    case and not to send me bills. Every time I got a
    reply saying your case is right and we will update the same in our system. But it
    didn’t happened, later end of the year(2006), I got a call from HSBC call center
    and the executive told me to pay rs. 130/- and case will be permanently closed. I
    decided to pay as I was getting bugged every month with their calls. I paid the
    amount by cheque in jan07. For next 3-4 months no call no bill I received, but
    later again I started getting bills with higher and higher amount. I got tired of
    calling bank, finally I started neglecting their calls and their bills. I have been
    also told that my name is been added to blacklist and I wont get any loan from any
    other banks. I have one friend who works for other private bank who have access to
    CIBIL, he cross checked my name in the list which he didn’t find it. But still I am
    getting bills and sms and amount has crossed more than Rs. 27000.

    I want to get rid of this now, as I know it might create a problem for me in future.

    Please help.

    Dear all,

    Mine is also a similar case as mr.Sudhir Gattawar. I have not used my card and also called call center ppl to close my card. After few months i started gettting call from call center threathening my name will be included in blacklist and i will not get any loan. I will like to know whether i can approch some place where i can lodge a complaint on this and close this issue for all. I was a regular payer for this bank HSBC for long period. I have got this in response. i want to know a plance where i can lodge a complaing.

    Hi,
    I was having Hsbc credit card and I went for a settlemt with HSBC. They told me to pay the amount before 27th of March 2010 and I made a payment by paying them through DD. I gave the DD to their collection agent. He has given me the receipt and also the letter from bank stating that if you pay the full settlement amount at a shot, We will nullify you account and will send you the statement showing zero balance. I have paid the settlement amount for which I have the receipt and all the supporting documents. I also have the all conversation audio tapes with me. Now when I call HSBC they say that you have to pay a new settlement amount and the earlier letter is not valid and they are harrsing me.
    Please any one let me know what to do in this regards
