I am a central govt. pensioner whose pension disburser was the State Bank of India , Vinoba Nagar branch (Code No- 9150), PO Gopinath Nagar, Guwahati -781016, Assam. The said disburser paid me pension upto 02/09(Feb.’09) and there-after,on my request, transferred my pension to State Bank of India ,Fartabad branch (Code No. 7422), SHAHU BHAVAN, Garia Station Road, PO Garia, Kolkata- 700084.

The transfer having taken place, the new disburser commenced disbursement of my pension in 05/09(May’09) by paying me my pension for 03/09(March ‘09) onwards. The pension was inclusive of Dearness Relief at a higher rate of 22%. This new rate of DR was effective from 01/01/09 (raised by 6% from 16%) which for obvious reasons was not paid by the previous disburser and the new disburser having paid it from 03/09(March’09), there remained an arrear for two months to be paid to me. The normal period of clearance of arrear by the bank being over, I approached the disburser in writing who viewed that it has to be paid by the previous disburser and suggested that I write to Guwahati. Accordingly, I wrote in 07/09(July’09). I did not receive any reply nor was I paid the dues till date.

As regards arrears on account of the pay commission recommendations I have to state that the disburser at Guwahati paid me 40% worth Rs 26,246.00 on 28.09.08 and the balance 60% payable now by the present disburser in Kolkata has not been paid to me although the payment on this a/c in all other cases was cleared by him during Sep '09. I was also not informed as to why I was not paid my dues. I wrote to know the reasons but have not got any reply.

My disburser happens to be in a position to pay the dues aster it is entertained and passed on to him by the Asstt General Manager, Centralized pension payment cell,SBI, 83/1A Vivekananda Road, Kol 700006.

An enquiry into the matter by taking it up with the Asstt G.M will help the pensioner to a great extent to mitigate his financial hardship.

Sir,

I am pensioner of State Govt. I transfered my pension account from SBI, Madurai to SBI, Nandambakkam, chennai in Feb 2009. I was getting Rs.7555 as pension amount in Madurai SBI till Jan 2009. But now I am getting credit of Rs.5415 only in chennai SBI from feb 2009 to November 09.Why was the difference?

After repeated complaint I was came to know that relief amount was missed in calculation by SBI. But still I am not getting back my amounts from Bank. The staff who is incharge of pension account in SBI, nandambakkam is not at all responsible and whenever we approach she will receive complaint only and not taking action.

And also I am not get enchanced amount and arrears as per 6th pay commisison till now.So kindly do the needful to get resolve of my both complaints.

Sir, I am a Subedar Nursing Asst Ashis Kumar Mandal retired from Army Medical Corps wef 01 Dec 2006. After my retirement almost 3 years and 2 months have been lapsed, no revised pension or arrears of pay has been received till now instead the serving personnel already been received the same before 08 months which I can not understand. Most of other Corps people have already been received Pension as well as arrears of Pay.

I Lt.Col. ( Retd) M.S Sardesai request you to help me in gating my lagitimet dues . As per PCDA Pensin Allahabad my basic pension is tobe Rs. 25311/- pm w.e.f. Jan 2006 where as the SBI Paud Road Pune Br. Code No. 9061 has fixed it @ Rs. 23754/- & paid me the arriors. I have brought to the notice of bankers in the month of Aug 2009 & I have writen four letters to them but no action has been taken by them. On top of it PCDA Allahabad has instucted them in writing but NO ACTION has ben taken by them on pretext that this is done by your office. I am loosing my hard earn money. Before I addopt leagal course I thought of approaching you for the help. I am sure you will do the needful to avoide my finanacial harrasment. Thanking You
