    Default Complaint against HDFC Bank, Kalkaji Branch New Delhi

    Dear Sir/Mam,

    I want to file a complaint against HDFC Bank, Kalkaji Branch New Delhi. They have provided me the new debit card but i have not received the PIN yet. Even after calling them number of times they are not taking appropriate measure and just giving different reasons every day.

    This has forced me to come at your doorstep so that my problem will get solved quickly.

    Hope you will take strict action against them as i am facing big problems due to this.

    Sir,

    My brother has been missiing from the residence since 9.3.2009. I got a TIN number from HDFC bank in the name of my brother Vinod Kumar. I contacted the Band and the Head Office in Mumbai a number of times. I sent fax letters addressing the Chairman of the company to know if my brother opened any account for which the Bank has issued TIN number from Connaught Branch. It is surprising that Head Office of the Bank could not reply even in 2 months.

    I expect to get a suitable reply from the bank, being a largest and reputed private sector bank.

    Angry HDFC B-Block Kalkaji: Pin Not Sent Despite Innumerable Complaints

    Dear Sir,

    It's quite surprising that HDFC Bank conducts in such unprofessional manner despite repeated phone calls and complaints. As I do not have a Phone banking password and as per the HDFC process, I personally submitted a request for a new ATM pin (having forgotten my existing pin no.) on 7th of August, 2010 with HDFC branch at B-Block Kalkaji. But despite my repeated complaints with HDFC customer care and having spoken to one of the deputy managers, no action has been taken till date.

    My complaint no. is DEL264836.

    Post the complaint lodged, I receive a call from the C block Kalkaji branch. The person seemed to be in dire need to know whether it is their branch who need to act on the request or they can shift responsibility to some other kalkaji branch and sit relaxed. Later, on reconfirming that it isn't their branch and that it is to be handled by the B block HDFC branch of Kalkaji, they just informed me that the debit card no. I submitted is wrong, with no mention of whether I need to resubmit any request.

    But what I don't get is why the B-Block branch concerned, which has my request for a new debit card pin hasn't shouldered any responsibility whatsoever despite having all my details informed me of the error or what should be the next action. It seems, it has become my duty to enquire and devote considerable time each Saturday to follow up on the status of my debit card pin and re address my grievance with growing frustration, but to no avail.

    HDFC IS A SERVICE BASED COMPANY, THEY CHARGE FOR EVERY FRIKKIN THING, THUS IT SHOULD BE MANDATORY FOR THEM TO DO THEIR DUTY BY ACTING UPON URGENT REQUEST RATHER THAN JUST MAKING SOME LAME EXCUSE AND TAKE HOME HANDSOME SALARY AT THE END OF EACH MONTH WITH NO SERVICE DONE WHATSOEVER.

    Being a part of Oracle India, I have already decided to let all in my company know about the lackadaisical, unprofessional attitude of HDFC employees. The repute of HDFC bank is surely not well deserving and not worth paying for.

    Hope some action will be taken and my debit card pin will be sent without any further delay.

    Hi I am hunny jain i am the account holder in HDFC bank.

    My complaint is related to ATM transiction.

    Sir i like to informed you i have done a transiction through PNB Bank ATM on 2-Oct-2010 my transiction is showing Successful but i haven,t recived the amount , The transiction amount is RS 400/- only.I logged the complaint also in the HDFC customer service department on the same day and my complaint no is (131077) but till now i not recive any response through customer service department............

    Dear Ms Jain,

    In such cases of transaction failure, it typically takes the bank 12 working days to credit the disputed amount back to the customer’s account. If you do not receive this credit within the said time, we request you to write to talktous@hdfcbank.com with your account number, contact details and the reference id TTU00114608102010, so a bank representative can investigate the delay.

    Default Urgent Solution Needed:- Complain Against HDFC CREDIT CARD Division, New Delhi.

    Dear Sir,

    It is to bring your kind attentation that I have recvd a letter from HDFC Bank stating that - the credit card dept has HOLD on my fund in my Salary account & the reason mentioned is that I have not picked up phone calls. For your kind attentation, I had a conversation with customer care on 12.11.10 & confirmed that I will pay him a sum of INR 10,000.00 against my credit card outstanding on 13.11.10 & also advciced him to collect the payment from My residence on 13.11.10. I have waited for the whole day on 13.11.10 , but unfortunately no body comes to for the collection. I have also contacted the customer service on no- 011-41514332 several times but i have not tranfered to the billing dept. at last on 16.11.10 , I have requested the customer service to log a request to the billing dept, for reminding to call me for the payment / any issue.( The request logged no - 10317390788) but till now I have not recvd a single call from Credit card dept.

    But Today I have recvd a Letter from your Bank That they have HOLD MY FUND of INR 55291.98 in My SALARY Account, withour intimating me. This is total Ill-Legal that with out any intimation , you can not hold my funds in my Salary Account.

    Wink Poor service of hdfc bank

    I have an account with HDFC Bank at Chembur Branch CID:715009. My son CID 5259017 along with me and my wife maintain MF folio also with the Bank. Similarly my daughter in Law and My son CID:4009262 and 715008 hold bank account and MF account with the Chembur Branch. Recently we had an experience that brought out that the HDFC Bank is POOR in Knowledge and service in relation to Mutual funds. The experience was too bad that it provoked me to initiate action to close the MF folio SOS with them. U may like to observe some interesting coreespondence as under, from which u will readily agree that personnel dealing with MF is ignorant anything pertaing to MF including the Chembur Branch which also have no idea what is a MF.

    AA) A transaction done (CID 4009262) in Tata FMP sr29 NFO closed on 29.12.10 and no allotment was seen the folio for long. I got the statement from tata on 3.01.11 showing allotment on 31.12.10. When i raised the question of why no units are shown in my folio,the bank support team informed that it will take 30 Days for NFO allotment. This means the personnel is not aware the norms for FMP NFO allotments. neither he cares to read the offer documents it appears. After several rounds of repeated reply like this,my units were shown suddenly shown in mid January. In my opinion such ignorant people are not fit to be employed unless HDFC likes to give charity at the cost of public money.

    BB) Next I formally enquired about the procedure to close the MF folio account with HDFC. I got a reply that I should redeem all units and submit the closure form. I replied to this that funds cannot be redeemed in case of FMPS and Cap prot funds. To this they send me a transfer out form, which is further confusing to fill in. The form mentions in Bold " Request for Change of Broker code from Online to Offline mode" when my requirement is to make the amc direct. The support personnel while sending the form also mentioned explicitly that a cancelled cheque is required only if there is change in Bank mandate. This I forwarded the Transfer out form with various attachment except the cheque for selected AMC to the chembur branch as per instructions. To my surprise the Branch personnel declined to accept the same pleading that they cannot accept anything in MF. Finally i talked to Branch manager and one Priya Mahesh obliged by accepting the form for onward transmission to concerned. This was done 0n 21.01.11 and that is the end of the drama. No news what happened, no acknowledgement. Again i wrote to the support and i am informed on 03.02.11,that since Cancelled cheque was not enclosed the transfer out form request was rejected by the Branch.
    You will now readily agree the foolishness of the support personnel who initially instrcued me not to submit cancelled cheque and the same personnel by name Magesh informs that my transfer out form is rejected for want of cancelled cheque. Possibly this is all done to harass customer so that they will never dare to close the account in their lifetime.

    CC) Another foolish thing may be read. We went to branch where we have savings and MF account. When we queried about some missing units allotment, we were informed that they do not know anything in MF and i should contact one Mr.Vijay Sadanha. Mail address and Mobile Number. I wrote a mail to this gentlemen who never responded. Again i wrote a mail to Vijay saldanha on 03.02.11, when i was informed that he is not dealing with Mutual funds in HDFC. This means the Branch personnel are not aware of even who is handling what and just pass time doing nothing.

    The only service i get for the MF is prompt deduction of quarterly fees to feed the parasites in MF who do nothing.


    I have still a lot to write but someone has to read even the above.

    Cash of Rs 10,000 not dispensed, but bank account debited with the withdrawal.

    I work with the O/o the Superintendent of Prison, District Prison, Gurgaon and hold a Savings Bank Account with Punjab National Bank, Narwana, Jind.

    On 29.10.2010, in an emergency, I used the ATM of HDFC Bank (ATM ID S1ANPRO7), Town Pundri, District Kaithal for withdrawing Rs 20,000 from my above Savings Bank Account.
    After feeding the required information in the ATM machine for cash withdrawal, the machine did not dispense the first lot of cash of Rs 10,000. Further, charge slip was also not dispensed by the machine.
    Due to hard-pressed for time, when I tried again, the machine dispensed cash of Rs 20,000, (in two transactions No: 9974 and 9975 of Rs 10,000 each) on the same date. Given the hurry, it escaped my attention to check the bank balance after second transaction i.e. no 9975.
    Nine days later, i.e. on 08.011.2010, when I used the HDFC machine again for cash withdrawal, I came to know about Rs 10,000 excess cash withdrawal. It got confirmed when I got my passbook updated which disclosed three cash-withdrawal transactions of Rs 10,000 each.
    Before the above Rs 20,000 actual cash withdrawal my bank balance was Rs 32078.00, and after the withdrawal it became 2,078.00, whereas it should have been Rs 12078.00. There was an excess cash withdrawal of Rs 10,000 debited to my account wherein the machine did not dispense actual cash, yet it erroneously recorded the cash withdrawal transaction which is reflecting, as a withdrawal, in my account.
    Therefore on 08.11.2010, I got the complaint registered with PNB Customer Care Service, main dealing bank, and was allotted the complaint No. 51461910. However, it was later intimated by PNB that HDFC bank has declined the request, without giving me any reason.
    Therefore, I request your office to kindly re-credit the amount of Rs 10,000 in my account for the amount not dispensed by HDFC ATM at Pundri, District Kaithal as it has caused me an unnecessary financial loss.

    Dear Mr Nain,

    As the transaction failure happened at an HDFC Bank ATM, would request you to follow the below procedure for claiming your funds:

    1. Submit a complaint /dispute letter with the issuing branch (PNB) where you hold the savings bank account.
    2. The issuing Bank will then raise a charge back dispute/query on us (HDFC BANK) seeking the disputed transaction status.
    3. If the transaction stands invalid as per your claim, the funds will be returned to the issuing bank, which would be credited to your account by your respective bank.

    HI, Thys is Amarjeet Singh i took a loan from Centurian bank of pujab Not it is merged in HDFC I brought in 2006 and paid my all dues But I didnt get NOC, N now I have onle my RC with me. PLease suggest me I have to go and buy another bike please revert me....I tried a lot.....! 9910674826
