Dear authorities,

Please read the email attached for a full picture of the loss I have
suffered at the hands of HSBC and Tata-aig as they have wrongly taken the
liberty of charging my credit card without my consent.

Since I have made this complaint, several officers of tata-aig and hsbc have
called to assure me that my complaint is being looked into and I would get
full refund but till date I find only 12 out of 28 installments of Rs. 329/-
and 2 out of 28 installments of Rs. 1123/- credited to my HSBC Gold Credit
Card on 4th March 2009 whereas the policy cancellation letter that arrived a
couple of weeks ago says it commenced in October 2006.

Asst Manager at HSBC's call centre Ms. Natalie has assured me this evening
that she will investigate the matter and arrange a call back tomorrow.

HSBC staff have all along been telling me that I have to take up the matter
with Tata-aig, they do not seem to take on any responsibility for the loss I
have suffered and the agony I am going through to try and get my money back.

I honestly don't think my money is safe with HSBC anymore if this is the way
they're going to look after it.

I would appreciate some help in the matter.

Thank you,

Mona Ghosh

My HSBC Gold Visa Credit Card # 4384 5999 9708 3463 has been charged for Two
TATA AIG Policies every month since March 2007 WITHOUT MY CONSENT OR
CONFIRMATION. This amounts to credit card fraud!

After making several complaints to both HSBC Premiere and Tata AIG i have
found the following details

1. HSBC has debited my card under instruction from Tata AIG without caring
to check with me. This is a violation of customer service, HSBC's
responsibility towards its customer and the direct relationship HSBC has
with its customer.

2. The two policies are Personal Accident Policies
BTM - 01000006572 - Mrs. Mona Ghosh and
BTM - 01000015032 - Dr. Limbachiya M (i do not know any such person)
I have not received either policy nor any proof from HSBC or TATA AIG of my
confirmation of any such policy to be debited to my card.

Tata AIG had assured me on 5th feb 2009 that the entire amount for both
policies would be credited back to my card in 3 to 4 working days but that
has not happened.

My credit card has a direct debit instruction linked to my savings account
so all bills have been automatically cleared from my account on the due
dates itself.

I demand that HSBC and TATA AIG refund that entire amount WITH INTEREST
IMMEDIATELY! Else i will report this matter to the Economic Offences Wing
and the media and The Consumer Redressal Forum for action against HSBC and
TATA AIG as inspite of complaints these premium amounts continue to be
charged to my card.
