Bank Alfalah has acquired title sponsorship rights for a record Pakistani Rs.15 million ($251,650) for Pakistan's home Test and one-day international series against England October-December.


This is the highest figure for a series sponsorship in Pakistan, barring the India's tour to the country last year, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) said here Thursday.

PCB director (cricket operations) Saleem Altaf and Bank Alfalah executive in-charge (international banking division) Sirajuddin Aziz said that they were delighted to have their organisations join hands in this venture.
