I have an Axis Bank account and a gold debit card. As per the Bank's website, I
am supposed to be getting 24 hr customer service for my debit card. However, in
reality, this 24 hr customer service is only for blocking a lost debit card or
for credit cards. The service for the debit card is only during office hours.
Even during office hours, the call centre cant answer any of the queries and
asks the customer to contact the home branch. This is not possible as the bank's
phone nos have been diverted to the call centres !!! And visiting the bank is
not possible as I am located in a different city.
I have brought this out twice to the bank authorities and I have requested them
to make requisite change in their website so that the customer gets the correct
information. However, the bank is skirting the issue and not replying.
What can be done?
