    Default HDFC Credit Card delivered wrongly, misused and charges debited to my account

    Dear Sir,

    This is in regards to my credit card that has expired (5176521002159913) and was reissued to me. The card was reissued without any confirmation calls/ email and was dispatched to me. The premises the card was delivered to, was locked during that period due to some drainage issues and the speed post people have delivered the card to some unauthorized person. Subsequently the card was misused by the person and the bank debited the charges to my account. Even after repeated requests the back claims that the card was used by authorised person. To my surprise the bank authorizes somebody else to use a credit card issued in my name. Now HDFC Bank has made me liable to pay for these transactions that I have not incurred.

    I need help how to take this issue and get compensation from the bank for all the time I have wasted in the entire process and the mental harassment HDFC bank has given me.
