Sir,
I am a senior citizen. I had booked two fixed deposit nos- 12034470003143 and
12034470004329 of Rs. One lakh each with the HDFC bank branch of Global Business
Park , Gurgaon, Haryana.
The bank has been advertising that it will give .50 % extra interest than
applicable to general category persons.
Even though I am senior citizen I have been booked at 9.50% and 8.50% respectively
which was the then applicable rate of interest.
After I mailed the complaint to them, they through one of their staff verbally
communicated to me that I will be given .50% extra.
But even after months the bank has not communicated to me officially neither they
have acceded to my demand.
This is a clear case of deficiency in service and making false promises to mislead
and deprive senior citizen of their rightful due.

I ,therefore request that justice along with adequate compensation be done to me.I
also request that the bank and their accountable manager be suitably be punished.
